Burnout Revenge 360 is amazing, if only that vaseline graphics treatment get rip out would made it better

The heavy post-processed-contrast look was definitely a theme during that era. I personally don't mind it much with most of these older games, but earlier implementations definitely aren't as clean.

on the PS2 i played burnout 3 like crazy and barely touched revenge. i should pop it in and give it a shot i have it on original xbox.

Takedown was my absolute favorite back in the day! I'll definitely cover it in a video like this in the future sometime.

thanks for the video. Burnout 2 was my jam when it initially released. Even better, my girlfriend at the time got hooked on it. When dropped by her apartment one day, she had even picked up 'Burnout 3 Takedown.' Well, i wasn't impressed. I couldn't embrace the new "Takedown" mechanic. To me, the challenge in the prior Burnout titles was negotiating opposing cars at VERY high speeds *without* crashing. As it was exhilarating. Also, i loved the Burnout 2 soundtrack, and EA employing their "EA artists track lists" in BO3 didn't make a strong impression. Conversely Burnout 2 is in my Top 20 All-Time PS2 collection, and i own a sealed copy to commemorate this fact. Also loved it's Renderware powered graphics which were very clean, for their time. I'll likely pass on Burnout Revenge, as appears to be more or less an improved version of Burnout 3. However, i was impressed with your *Burnout Paradise* reminiscing video, and will approach my PS4 copy with an open mind. I do wish Criterion would've at least offered a "hood" view, but it's whatever. Take care.

@IndustrialGamer of course man, always. Also, very kewl you have vivid memories of BO2. As you explained in one of your vids, you have little memory of some of those early gaming experiences.
