For those who game is glitched from selling new items after beating the game and unlocking new classes, and you don’t feel like rerolling your campaign or making a new character, you can join another player’s game that has these items unlocked that are not glitched and those items will show up in the store. Just note that you also must have these items unlocked as well, for example if your friend has the items from beating Apoc in the store, it will show for him but it won’t show for you until you do the same.

Beat the game on any difficulty, at the final boss. Do NOT SKIP any cutscene or the credits. Wait until you're on the main menu. Then go in and check Whispers. It worked for me after the "bug" hit the first time. Found this solution in the forums. Can confirm it worked for me.

did you re-roll the campaign for that? I mean, if one has to make a new char is kinda moot since you can then just select Explorer as starting class w/ all the gear associated w/ it... I've read that the real reason it bugs out is due to skipping the end credits, plus playing co-op will automatically boot everyone and skip it so... but also that re-rolling won't work, so requiring a new char from scratch... I haven't tested any of this, so genuinely wondering... I'm fine re-rolling the campaign cuz was already planning to do it, now, re-start from scratch is way less appealing... cheers

@@the_777th_joker6yeah, I've heard about the patch, but got Archon way b4 that thanks to a kind soul who opened the portal for me... since then I've re-rolled the campaign, but didn't get to finish again (been playing only Baldur's Gate 3 in my free time..lol) I say, best place to get info is in the official discord server.. much less of a hassle than the reddit, plus the devs hang out over there pretty reliably, I've even got John (Remnant) directly replying to one of my questions, otherwise either moderators or regular players are usually pretty nice helping out... Anyway, thanks bud XD

This was found by members of the community through data mining, aka looking through the code of the game to figure it out. One of the developers stated on Twitter how they knew data mining was inevitable so they made an archetype whose steps could only be found with it. Pretty cool honestly

0:23 For the Realm Walker armour set, I tried starting another character with Explorer class, both on hardcore and regular options on both the easiest and hardest difficulty, but Scribbles did NOT give my main character the option to buy the armour set himself. So I believe you ALSO have to level the Explorer archetype to a certain point edit: my explorer is now lvl 7 and still no armour

I love this game. Truly. Ive put so many hours into it already. But things like whisper not selling the armor after unlocking a class aside from the Summoner set from blood moon alter. Or wallace not selling the weapons after beating a difficulty are just infuriating. Lol i defend this game to a teet but these are things that should be found during testing. “Hey did we make check off that Whisper sells armor sets for classes after unlocking the archetype?” But all in all its an amazing game and im enjoying it and hopefully the patch comes soon as I want the labyrinth armor i put in the work to get lol. Much work.

Whispers selling armor is bugged. He SHOULD sell it after finishing the campaign but if you played coop you have a chance of bugging your save since all of the npcs act as if its your first time seeing them. You can fix this bug by rerolling your campaign in offline mode and progressing a little bit.

I new game+ and had at that point lvl'd explorer to 10. The armor was there at that point, though it may be the case that I had beaten some other boss or abberation that provided it bc I never checked in with whispers too often.

you need to beat the game on apocalypse. There is also some sort of bug that makes it so completing the game on apocalypse doesn't always unlock the rewards.

For the Katana and Dendroid armor, there is actually a ramp of roots along the building to the right. It takes you above the semi and provides a drop down instead of having to find the "perfect" spot to mantle the rocks.

Here's how I did it... Go and meet the queen, being nice and agreeable, and then proceed through the game. You're looking for Widow's Court, which looks kind of like a big ziggurat and is near the end of the world run. Proceed through this area, keeping an eye out for an ornate key and an ornate lockbox. Key is a red glowing item near a downed elite that has a letter nearby. Box is behind a hidden door next to that one chest in the path behind the waterfall. Do not open the chest. Finish the area and head through the gold fog wall to the area with the world boss and activate the checkpoint. Take the chest back to the court and give it to the queen, saying that "I didn't think it was my business. She will give you an equip able item that looks like a doe. Proceed through and complete the world boss battle, do it either the normal way or the alternate way, and then return to the queen. Proceed through, making sure to kneel and say "Long live the queen." You'll know you did it right when she talks about making you her blade/knight. She should give you the ring needed for the gun at that point. Go out of the chamber and back to that initial cross path that you passed when you first entered the world, turning right and going into what looks like small library with a seal/crest on the floor in the center. Equip the ring and stand on that seal/crest to open it for the gun. That's pretty much how I got the gun. You can also take that doe item back to the Widow's Court and go to the top of the Ziggurat to the room with a statue depicting the doe fighting the ravager. Stand in front of that statue and equip the doe item to unlock a mutator. Hope that helps.
