Remnant 2 - NEW Mod Spam Explosion Build Puts The Game On EASY MODE!

Explosion builds man... I remember fighting The One True King with a buddy of mine once with my fire status build; I was being very careful with Hellfire's firebomb mod, making sure that he wasn't going to get hit by it. We downed The King, he had been keeping his distance for a good while, and I thought 'Oh, this would be a perfect time to use my fire bomb!'. And so I shoot the bomb, and right as I pull the trigger on that, I watch my friend break into a dead sprint across my screen, and run directly into the bomb's explosion and he got instantly downed. I couldn't stop laughing for the rest of the fight.

Reaction Chain is bugged at the moment to not produce as much mod power as it should, so expect that to get better in the future. As for possible improvements, Cast Speed doesn't help this build as much as you think it does. It has no effect on the drawing back of the Starfall mod, i.e. the actual long part, it only affects the actual release when you fire it, i.e. the instant part. Drop the Cast Speed fragment and put the Mod Duration fragment on instead. In fact, If you want to go the Feedback route, you'd be better off increasing your Mod Duration over increasing your Damage, since increasing your damage offers no benefit to the Feedback's interest in Base damage, whereas increasing the duration gives you more explosions over the course of the mod which is more base damage being dealt which equates to more mod spam. This isn't a sliding scale where you can have shorter Starfalls with more damage versus longer Starfalls with less damage, having the longer Starfalls also gives you more FREQUENT Starfalls over time which equates to WAY higher sustained DPS. With that in mind I recommend Magnifying Glass in the amulet slot (the AOE is quite nice as well, helps with mobile bosses), and for rings we want Zohee's Ring, Burden of the Gambler, Probability Cord, and Burden of the Follower. Make sure to include Chakra in your traits as well as the obvious Amplitude and Spirit. If you manage to roll Power Trip or Overpowered as your legendary fragment, you can drop Burden of the Follower in favor of Burden of the Destroyer or your preferred flavor of defensive option. For the Archon skill, Chaos Gate is tempting, but the name of the game is mod spam, and when it comes to mod spam nothing even comes close to the 50 mod power per second you get while standing inside Reality Rune. The fact that it doesn't last very long and has a huge cooldown tends to scare people away, but what it does is absolutely perfect for our build, since we only need it for a moment at the start of the fight. It helps accelerate your first few Starfalls so that you can get the Feedback loop going, and once you have 2 or 3 Starfalls active then we don't need the Reality Rune anymore to keep spamming. It also keeps you safe while inside it, granting huge defenses. All things together, with Mod duration in both your Fragments and your Prism Fragments, as well as in your jewelry and traits, we can get up to 12.6 seconds of Starfall per cast, or ~21k damage without anything else assisting it. Focusing on duration outpaces the DPS of focusing on damage after the first 2 casts and, then the gap just increases from there. I managed to get Power Trip as my legendary fragment, and consequently I can reach over 8k DPS before I hit 200k damage on a dummy. Ideal circumstances maybe, but I also haven't found a boss who can last longer than a minute.

I was thinking about the looking glass amulet but wasn’t sure if we would still have decent mod generation, but having the duration and AoE increase would be massive! Echo chamber aswell was another great option just ran out of time explain stuff cause I don’t want the video being any longer then it needs to haha Ahhhh got you I wasn’t sure if cast speed was needed but felt like it helped I guess it was just placebo that I had mod speed fragment equiped haha I’m going to be testing this out today sounds like a much well rounded version to what I had haha 😅

The damage is definitely no joke! And the funny thing is if you look through the comments some gigachad left a better version to what I had in this video, you can get upwards of 7-8k dps Going for more mod duration seems to be the play tho, I definitely didn’t take enough haha

100% dude there is so many good options for “explosion” builds now! I forgot to re try this amulet after the mod generation fixes, so the exposed set up is probably much better now Just run echo chamber with “ring of revelations” I think it’s called, the one that gives you mod damage and mod generation but doubled against exposed targets!

i just tried a similar setup with double mod charges and leaking gemstone with feedback on the bow, really good damage and you can basically just use the bow the whole time. i opted for helix because it also does alot of damage very fast

The problem with double stacking stationary mods is that all your dps flies out of the window when anything so much as takes a step out of their range. There are definitely other mods that both have non friendly fire explosives and have the versatility to not be stationary

Your 100% correct dude this is a bit of gimmicky build but the damage is always going to better with the stationary explosive mods and most boss funny enough are stationary haha But yeah something like helix mod will be better overall as you won’t have boss just moving out of the way all the time! For mobile enemies I'd use that Needle gun, otherwise that bow is super fun to use overall when going through the world Edit: probably shoulda watched more of the video before mentioning it lol

I don't think the drone draws aggro Im 99% sure it's just there for whatever buff you choose from it. I'm also assuming this bc it doesn't have a health bar and only displays nerudian energy.

I could work dude, but I’m pretty sure leaking gemstone and bulletweaver mutator are the 2 main things you want with nightfall mod spam build It’s super fun, I need to revisit that build honestly 💪
