Well, the expansion is part of the game's world, which is what was changed after 1.0, so really it should count regardless. Such as you don't get to Falcon's Nest and such till Heavensward... which is an expansion, but you could of gone to it and it's area in 1.0.

It actually says in the video, under relevance, it has 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0. As for spoilers, it was 2 years ago, pretty sure no one on youtube worries about spoilers that far out. also he wouldnt have needed to say anything. he doesnt give specifics on the side bar. it just says relevance none, medium, heavy and what not.

Tim Lewis excuse me, I'm watching this, among many many others, who are still in ARR storyline, don't think about yourself only. there are new players, old players, return players, veteran. Do not think because it is 'old content', it is not new for others. so now I know raubahn will be in danger, and to you 'nobody cares anymore' attitude makes me bitter as people in such attitude deny new players and kick us for not being good in the fight 'this is 3-year-old content' ... excuse me, I play for 3 weeks!

@@yabiyabilate, but bluntly, while I can understand being upset about spoilers in thumbnails and titles, being upset about spoilers about content in a comprehensive overview video isn't really reasonable in a game that calls back to its past as much as FFXIV does. Fully explaining stuff during even 2.0 and 2.x would spoil stuff up to late 6.x, for instance.

@@sensifacient Yes, they stayed when Stormblood came out, and when Shadowbringers got released too. At this point I doubt Endwalker is gonna delete them either :) That said, with Endwalker ending the current storyline, maybe 7.0 might clean the data out 2 years from now, who knows 🤷‍♀️

One small thing not mentioned about inns was Ul'dah Inn entrance wasn't in the spot it is now. I believe it was because they couldn't get it working there for some reason, but I'm not really sure.

some of those doors like the one located in thal's respite actually connect to some of the waiting rooms related with the story mode instances such as the first time you fight ifrit, right before you do you are placed in a room with some other prisoners before you fight ifrit, u cant revisit the story mode instanced zones after completing story segments, unless you out of bounds, or use a third party program to out of bounds. Neither i recommend doing xD

I hope they do lots more in Stormblood with Hildibrand. He had a lot of great moments in ARR but far less in Heavensward. I understand they had to put less budget into him but overall there wasn't all that much great humor in his most recent appearance where as before there was tons.

Out of curiosity, did you get in touch with the NoClip guys for their documentary? They were looking for players who had footage and info on 1.0, I thought it would have been a cool thing for you to connect with them (although it does kinda suck that they basically did "rise and fall" which is what you were working on).

I think the Rise and Fall series focuses more on the exact details of what was in 1.0, as well as the mechanical features (and shortcomings) of 1.0 as well as 2.0 and beyond, while Noclip's series focused more on the business and management side of the failure of 1.0, detailing how the lack of communication amongst the development team as well as Square's own hubris lead to 1.0's failure. Regardless, they're both really interesting and enjoyable to watch, having never played 1.0 myself.
