I remember the dreaded days of assembling cabinets. Thankfully those days are gone and never coming back. When we order custom cabinets now you usually get the option of having them pre-assembled except for the lazy suzie which is assembled by the cabinet company on site so all we have to do is the installation. There may be an additional cost but they wave that charge by me being a repeat customer. This saves a ton of time.

Great tip for clean line between trim and wall. Can't help but notice paint above the outside door . Found this video from a comment on another of your videos asking about this tip. Not painting behind cabinets backsplash makes sense. With your attention to detail suprised this was overlooked. It's been a year so I'm sure it's probably fixed by now. KZbin recommend you to me when you were gutting the old bathroom a few months ago.

Hey guys. Just finished watching all your videos. I do the same kind of work for a living with exception of bee removal 🤣. Taking the easy route is always the way to go. I appreciate and respect that. You’ve inspired me to keep the job site a bit cleaner and work with a greater sense of pride. Can you talk a lil more on how you manage all the different tools for different jobs? Do you have a shop? Do you load up tools every morning? Are there different storage bins you have for different jobs? Thanks

Thanks Jerry! No shop...yet:) Yes, load up tools every day. I used to have a trailer set up as a mobile shop but it got destroyed. We'll try to talk more about this subject in future videos.

good job cutting in the paint. But, I'd like to suggest going to Lowe's and get a Whizz brush. I've been using them for a few years. Not only is it angle cut, but it's also got a wedge design to the top of the brush. When you cut in, using the thick side of the brush, the thin side trails behind, and cuts in really well.

In several of your videos i've seen you with a pole that you mount your light on or laser level. It looks like it goes from floor to ceiling. What is that? Did you make it or buy it?
@Kevinw40404 жыл бұрын
Love you guys tips n tricks along the way. But I’m wondering 3 things why no recessed can lights? Why didn’t you install the upper cabinets first it’s easier not having to work around the base cabs? And did the customer not want wall cabinets to the ceiling? Maybe you didn’t have the ceiling height idk but it looks sweet as hell when cabinets are to the ceiling. If if you leave a 2” gap you can cover with crown giving the illusion it’s to the ceiling. Just my opinion but you guys are awesome. Loving the vids.

When you guys were hanging the cabinets I noticed you screwing to the backing in the wall which is why I also do. However I did not see you screwing the face frames together from one cabinet to the next. Did I miss it in the time lapse or do you not do that for a specific reason? @StudPack4 жыл бұрын
It's an older Dewalt DW55155, 2 -3/4 horsepower, 4 gallon tank, 4-1/2 cfm. It barely keeps up on larger floors but by the time you need a break, so does the compressor:)
