It looks great with the new doors. I love the fireplace on that new wall between the bathroom and the closet. It makes the room look larger and more cozy and it is a pleasant site to see when you enter your bedroom. A nice sized, comfy chair with a floor lamp next to the chair would be nice on the old wall that the fireplace was on. The boys are so helpful and are learning skills at the same time. It is so assuring watching them as they each grow and mature. You and Zsolt have done AND are doing a great job as parents. What wonderful examples you and Zsolt are! Zsolt has a work crew now for when he needs to go to Home Depot - the boys worked so beautifully together! The new doors look amazing and that fireplace is PERFECT in that spot. What a lovely, cozy room to retire to at night and wake up in the mornings. And now you can have peace in the bathroom too without the door saying SURPRISE. LOL (I wonder, do you think maybe Max needs a little more mustard though? HAHAHA I've had that happen - I love glass bottles like that but sometimes - goes everywhere! Eek!)

Buy a cheap king-size flat sheet to have on hand when doing dusty projects. You can drape it over stuff (like your bed) to keep the dust off. I like the faux fireplace better on the wall between the bathroom and closet, where you moved it. You might want to reconsider removing that little pony wall in the bathroom, though. It is there to provide a little bit of privacy when someone is sitting on the toilet. Just a thought. I have to say once again that I think it is so great that your boys are learning how to do home projects themselves. It is so very expensive to have to hire out everything. Loved the beach trip! Your boys did an amazing job prepping the doors and helping their dad put them in, they are so smart and hard working. The waffles you made looked so yummy, I make something similar with grated zucchini and onion. My middle son hates zucchini but he will eat it when I make them in the savory waffles. My tomato’s are not getting red on the vine and the nights are getting colder here so I think I better just pick them and do what you did with your green ones. I love watching what your husband does, and with the lovely help of the boys. The only problem is that it makes my husband look like such a slacker. Hubbie had to redo a wall to the basement bathroom 2 weeks ago because he had left the opening without a proper door hung for so long that the studs twisted so much we couldn’t close the door. He uses that washroom exclusively because the rest of us wouldn’t shower, etc without the door being fixed. Now that we have fixed the wall and the new door is hung I’m waiting - for 2 weeks for him to put the moulding around the door. I’d do it myself, but now we are so busy taking apart the kitchen for our Reno. Ugh! And my hubbie is retired (😜)!! Yesterday I had to deep clean the whole main floor because he decided to sand the plaster while I was out and he didn’t think that the 3 kitchen entrances needed to be covered (nore the fridge, nor the stove, nor the sink). Ugh!! May I borrow you and your husband for a while? Next week the plumber will be in to replumb the kitchen, so I’ll be without even running water. I’ll have to put a fire under my hubbie to get him into high gear. Any advise on how to get projects going and completed without sounding like a nagging wife? Just kidding (sorta).

You have a very large bathroom and closet like we do. What I like about our setup is in addition to the 2 doors from the bedroom to both the bathroom and closet, we have a door between the bathroom and closet. I love that I don't have to go from the shower - through the bedroom - into the closet. I can shower and go straight to the closet without disturbing my husband.
