oh, maybe the 2010 model don't have this feature then :( My 2011 Combo van does them but will only close them. Maybe this is only a realtively new feature then, or maybe it depends on the spec. Car shown is 2.0 SRi CDTi model. My old 1998 Rover will also close the windows, but that has much higher spec than most modern cars. All just work from factory with nothing to set up. buttons just do the job. I did the Astra windows in front of my BMW owning neighbour the other day and he was amazed it did this as his BMW does! He was even more amazed when I told him it's nothing new as my Rover did! (but it could depend on specs.)

ifitsgotwheels Turns out mine will only close the windows (I have the SE which is just 1 down from the top spec Elite). I’m guessing it’s from the facelift model on you had the option to open as well. Was rather disappointed to find out after I’d bought the car that it didn’t come with Bluetooth, seeing as you have the Phone button on the stereo and steering wheel I just took it for granted it was included, again being an SE and not an entry level. That aside I absolutely love the car.

yeah we thought it had bluetooth too on this one and it didn't. thought about adding one but never did.

i found my astra with all windows open after a super rainy night this morning.. trying to figure out how this happened but this might be it i suppose

It could be your car battery needs charging. It's not done that on this Astra, but my old Rover 800 Coupe used to drop it's windows when the battery got really low sometimes. Also now and again the radio would also come on, aerial go up, fog lights come on, along with those dropping windows. It's as though the car battery gremlins were trying to tell me to recharge the battery. Once fully recharged the car would be fine again and everything hunky dory.

Comfort settings, global closure disable apparently. Have same issue. Need to find someone with computer.

No sorry I think it just has this feature preloaded on certain models/years. This is a 2014 Astra SRI model. My 2011 Combo van will also do the windows on the remote but upwards only.

@@DanielLipeSequeira It might be something you can achieve using an opcom device from what I've discovered. This video is for the H, but I'd assume it'll work on the J. Looking into getting one myself to enable info options on the dash. Koicarpkeeper on vauxhallownersnetwork.co.uk is where I'm planning to get mine.
