I (barely!) passed my Linux+ exam today. I'd been experimenting with Linux for a decade, but mostly as a desktop OS for fun. So I was mostly familiar with the filesystem hierarchy, bootloader, remote access, editing settings, and very basic server setup. Some of your videos taught me maintenance/troubleshooting commands I never knew existed, and gave me that edge I needed to pass 🙂 Thanks Shawn!! 😎

Hey Shawn, this might be a dumb question, but I've been wondering if it would be possible to set up one machine to administrate/maintain all my installations from? So I could have all the updates etc. scheduled on a spreadsheet or something and keep distrobox & vm sandboxes running to pre-test things and take the "oops" factor out of treating each installation individually.

This idea of hiding IP addresses is really just overblown, its just another security through obscurity, if your servers firewalls behind the public IP are secure and hardened, the worst that can happen is DDOS and if someone will stalk you and come down to your general area shown by the IP and maybe try and harm you, then you have bigger problems anyway!
