Based on your review we decided to give Balderhead a try…the wind was so strong we couldn’t open the van door! We also fear sea sick with the constant rocking 🤦🏼‍♂️ fabulous spot, we will return in calmer weather 😉 thanks for the tip 👍🏻

Another great video, we stayed at Grassholme last night (2nd April) Me and the hubby enjoy fishing at Balderhead and the other reservoirs. Ideal that we can just stay overnight too. We've also stayed overnight at Derwent reservoir. Xx

Thanks for the info on those park ups, usually reservoirs are restricted access, so good to know these are available as wanted to explore that area. You need to get one of those mic muffles to block out the wind noise a bit though, plays havoc with my tinnitus ! 🤣

@@Eurosully our old dog used to point them for about an hour think they committed suicide in the end.. nice in a curry though 🫣🫣 we had some cracking park ups last year watching the wild life. Seen up to fifty basking sharks at Nairn. Hopefully this year I’ll get to see the killer whales up there. 🤞🤞

@@Eurosully we went early September first weekend I think it was. The week before they had counted 57 in the bay can be seen with the naked eye as well as ones further out with binos as lots of dolphins and if your really lucky orcas around there too. We stayed in the harbour car park. Some boy racers one night but part from that lovely sea views.

Reservoir dogs, I got that film reference, do I get an egg 😂, I like to see a KTM, Yamaha and a honda , but I get this bird thing, in someways it's like fishing ( not your fishing 😂😂 I mean actual fishing) it's not the fishing or the birds you see, it's the places it takes you to, a fish or a bird is a bonus, we live close to the south coast in Hampshire and often go to hayling island and walk the Billy trail and it's full of bird watchers, we never got your storm, infact easter Monday we drove to Exmouth for the weekend in our motorhome and had cracking weather, and like you no easter traffic, anyway another enjoyable vlog keep them coming and you'll (us) be utube famous before you know it.

I meant to mention it in your windermere video. can I sugest getting Muckboots, I know they are expensive, but they are amazing, very comfy, can walk miles, better than my very expensive walking boots, they are warm and you can splash about in muddy puddles, oh and easy to get on and off. they are my motorhome essential in winter. Steve PS why did they name the first one after Andrew....

Hi, thanks for commenting👍 we use the Park4Night app, we’ve had others in the past but just use that one now. Same for the pubs, but if a pub isn’t on the app we just give them a call, they can only say yes or no!! Thanks for watching 👀 A, J & 🐶
