Sony has bigger market in EU (high income society). They make premium phones just like iphones, s23 ultra, samsung's fold series. Also, they have put great cameras in smartphones and it is much better to s23 ultra cameras.

I think non-removable batteries are very good. Atleast I haven't faced any battery disconnection due to accumulation of carbon in battery or terminal break up etc. Its worthless to bring removable battery again. Rather EU SHOULD FOCUSED IN BRINGING HEADPHONE JACK AND MEMORY CARD SLOT BACK.

this is bad, so old days of stealing phones will be back. all the thieves would need to do is remove the battery, job done. Phone tracking would basically be useless. Not to mention, worse water/dust resistance. and all that for what ? so a person can replace battery after 3 years? that is the time the person will be buying a new phone. and even if they wanna change battery, they can just go to service centre and get it changed. no need to make them removable, it's not something that you do everyday. edit: not to mention this will also lead to lower battery capacity and also slower charging.

Removable battery concept is useless unless they provide batteries for those particular products over next decade or so. Maybe EU makes them to provide batteries in their own memeber countries but In country like India I don't know if there's such rule or if these companies ever follow these rules, service centers simply refuse to repair devices saying parts are not available. In such case removable batteries would not make any sense...sure 3rd pary batteries are there but In my past experience those are very inferior or I would say a gamble

As far as my experience goes, ek baar battery dead ho jaati hai, to doosre battery dalne par bhi phone theek se nahin chalta hai. Maine bahut koshish kiya tha. Ab bas yehi chahiye ki, ek mobile phone 5 saal tak chal jaaye, toh logon ko bahut raahat milegi mobile phones ko baar baar change karne se. Kyonki phone change karne ke baad phir se aaps download karne padte hai. Aur sabhi itne ameer nahin hote hai ki har 3 saal mein mobile phone change kare.
