Great video! That was the first thing I did to my samurai when I first got it. Wasn’t even running yet😃

I put it off too long and was just unbolting them. The Samurai threads didn't like that. 😀

@Javion Tadeo Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site through google and I'm trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.

Do the auto generated subtitles work?

Done but they are always in English Subtitles, Maybe it's KZbin's fault 😅

Awesomw video! Thanks! Just to confirm, does the pin reside on the body side of the car for both driver and passenger, or because of the hinges nature build, are the pins on the door side on driver and body side on pass? Sorry if that's a confusing question
@FortuneOffRoad2 жыл бұрын
I think I understand the question. The side with the pin is always attached to the body, with the pins open side pointing up, regardless of which door you're working with. Hope that helps!

Great videos, not a door hinge question but how do you like the road manners (I know its a sami, don't flame me) since you've added the front droop shackles? Read mixed things in the past so curious since you've had recent drive time on a suzuki built like I plan to do mine. Everyone else had yj springs or something else.
@FortuneOffRoad4 жыл бұрын
Thanks dude! Those drop shackles are awesome off road. I don't drive it on road much, but when I do I go about 55 mph. Because they don't unload on the road there isn't any noticeable change in handling. I'm guessing that hard cornering probably would be a good idea. 😄

I know its been 3 years, i love this idea however I don't offroad mine. its factory mint condition. Im concerned about them popping off at higher speeds if I was to hit a bump. any thoughts?
@FortuneOffRoad Жыл бұрын
I can't see that ever happening. The door is recessed all around the edges. It would have to be open to pop off.
@endurofurry Жыл бұрын
@@FortuneOffRoad very true. I guess the other question would it bounce up and down causing the paint to get damaged in the door frames? Have you seen any sign of this?
@joelgraba10773 жыл бұрын
ill just remove them 2 screws xD

I removed my doors on my samurai and there’s a constant beep? Any recommendations?
@FortuneOffRoad2 жыл бұрын
I had to pull the fuse for the door warning. You could put a manual switch in to prevent it too.
@bigboyz6402 жыл бұрын
How do I know which fuse it is? I don’t know much about vehicles
