Thank you! I told my 12-year old daughter that I hope by the time she's an adult this will be much easier! The Samsung engineers failed miserably at the interior of this fridge.

You are my hero sir! Someone spilled milk in my fridge so of course it found the path of least resistance and ended up stuck like dried glue between the drawer and the covers. It was in both sides. And utterly disgusting as well. After spending an embarrassing amount of time in my backyard trying to use the jet setting on my garden hose to get the crud out I finally decided to stop wasting time and water and google this. And there you were to save the day. At least my lawn got watered in the process. I love my fridge and I'm so proud to have it I try my best to keep it immaculately clean. Thank you!

After Zeta left us without power for 9 hours we had to clear out the majority of the contents in our fridge. I thought, "what a perfect time to deep clean the inside of our fridge!" the I got to the drawers and all the veggie snarf and other mung caught in those clear, overlapping pieces at the bottom front of each one and I regretted the whole plan. I could NOT figure these things out, and I'm pretty handy. I'm also terrified of breaking them so I hopped onto KZbin and found this tutorial. It was so clear, your "helper" showed everything perfectly, I cannot thank you enough - the mung is out and our fridge looks brand new inside!

So.... we lived with dried up raw blood for all this time...until today when I found your video. And I almost did it all by myself! My husband had to help a little with the clips. Thank you!! I had tried to take apart the drawers w/ pliers as there was particles of food in-between the 2 plastics. I was too timid with the screw driver before - as I thought the plastic was more brittle. The sound I hear down is the dislodging of the tabs thanks to your video! fyi for those of you have wrist issues - 2 pliers works - one to hold it open and the other to ply further down.

When we first bought the Samsung fridge, I totally loved it. That is until I first came to clean the interior. We managed to remove the center shelf, holding the bins, thanks to your video. But the drawers were a different matter…gunk had collected in the corners, not only unhealthy, but also unsightly. (Thank you for this video too.) The other problem we have had is with the ice maker. It would stop working and we had to use a hair dryer to defrost it. This happened regularly and luckily we had taken out a three year warranty. Eventually Samsung replaced the ice maker and so far so good. But considering how much we paid, we shouldn’t be having all these problems. I bet the interior design engineer was male and never gave a thought to how to clean the appliance and probably never had. I don’t think we will replace this fridge with another Samsung, when it finally gives up the ghost!

I had to watch 2 other videos showing how to take apart the crisper drawer and neither was the drawer I have. This video came the closest and gave me enough information to figure out the rest! I have 2 more tabs on either side of the bottom of the white piece. Hope's this comment helps someone else who has the same drawer design I do. My biggest problem is every year mine stops cooling the fridge enough, and the temp on the door shows the temp I set it at, not the actual temp inside. Over 4 years, I've thrown out quite a bit of milk, eggs, veggies, coldcuts and leftovers! Supposedly the newer models have addressed this, but for the rest of us, it's repairmen, DYIing and/or trial and error!

Thanks so very much!!! I have been cleaning out my Samsung fridge drawers repeatedly the last few days and there is debris still caught between the joining of the front of the drawer and the bottom. I kept looking at the drawers thinking there must be a way to access the debris but could not quite do it. I did the best I could with the sink hose sprayer but I will get back to it and remove the fronts as you showed so that I can clean them 100%. I did not see anything about this when I looked at the manual. Great job!

Thanks so much! While I guess I understand why Samsung designs their components in this way, it would be nice if they provided instructions like this in their online resources rather than forcing customers to spend time searching for reliable help! Thanks again!

Thank you! Thank you! I was so afraid I would break something so I left it dirty until I could get some help with how to clean inside all this. EWWWW I was quite disturbed at a refrigerator that cost so much and was so difficult to take apart to clean. The first video I watched was the one on taking out the glass shelf above the crisper drawers. Awesome.

THANK YOU SOOOO VERY MUCH for your sharing. Before I watched your video, I tried to wedge a thin tool under the three notches, but I wasn't sure as they were sooo fn tight. I thought I was going to crack the plastic. Mine did not come off as easily as yours but with some "elbow greese" It worked. Again thank you for sharing your video demonstration.
