I did this yesterday with a brick and it worked. I had spent the previous day and a half trying other ideas from KZbin but none them worked on my SUV. The tire had a big hole from a sharp rock so it could not be pressurized. A series of sledgehammers and a large timber just bounced off. Driving in a circle did not work because it was a rear wheel. There was not enough room under the car to use a long pry-bar. Most of a can of PB-Blaster made no difference, and I did not want to try heating the wheel with a torch.

What usually works is spraying pb blaster between the rim and the rotor, hit the rubber tire hard FROM THE BACK on one side a few times, then again on the other side and keep switching sides until it comes off. For really stuck tires, you'll do maybe 5 mins of non-stop hammering with a heavy sledgehammer

I finally got it off. I raised it and hit it with a rubber mallet /my spare tire. After raising it I would lower it. I just kept repeating about 15 times or so and it finally broke free. I also kept spraying it with wd40. I started taking more risk and lifting hire and letting it fall faster. It might actually take you about 20 or more times until it breaks free. I took a chance at the end and loosened my lug nuts more, but it can be risky if the lugnuts are too loose. I wish you luck. @@miriam7408
