A good honest review

I bought a 2000W fan heater for a caravan 20 years ago and barely used it. £15 at the time in 2004. Still own the heater in its box. Two weeks ago I had reason to try it in my bedroom. I only used the 1000W setting. Noisy but quite effective at making the room feel warm enough to climb into bed on a cold night. Didn’t leave in on overnight though. From another reviewer I learned apparently the ceramic element draws less power as it gets hotter, while a wire element like mine will draw the same power all the time it is on, or so I understand. So MAYBE any ‘new’ ceramic heater is more cost-efficient than a conventional resistance wire fan heater. However my fairly big 1000W/2000W fan heater did a good job of heating my 14ft x14ft room at a cost of possibly 35p/hour while running so not cheap to run. Do not like the idea of the heater straight into a wall socket. 99% of my wall sockets are behind furniture.

Amazing how this gadget has re-surfaced. Bought mine two years ago. It's a low-watt fan heater. That's it. Nothing more to say. Mine keeps my feet warm when sitting reading or watching TV. Ideal personal heater but not strong enough to keep a room warm.

you could use 300 watt to seriously heat that room.. you need a oil radiator heater rated 600 watt on low and a timer to shut off and on, run for 30 min and off for 30 min. or a mini split heat pump rated 750 watts, run for 30 min on and 30 min off with a timer,i live in the coldest province in Canada

I would struggle tithing of any electric heater that does not convert effectively all the electrical energy that it draws into heater. If you have. an old fashioned three bar Belling it will use six time more energy than this 500W heater as it is rated at 3kW. So it will heat the room six times faster and cost six time as much to run. These mini heaters have a place, but the marketing is pure un-scientific nonsense. The trouble is that most people do not have even a basic understanding of how the various forms of energy work! There are inefficiencies with electricity, but these come from generation losses [not all the energy a power station consumes is available to the grid as electricity], and transmission line losses. These are factored in the unit cost of electric and apply to any electrical consumption at the socket. Best wishes from George

This doesn't stop condensation per se. It just stops it forming on the window. If there is condensation in the air then it will land on something else that may do more damage or turn to mould.

I think you need to set the timer for how long your shot is. That's why you aren't getting into optimal range, it's too short. Basically you just hold down the OK button to set the timer. It'll go orange when setting. The next time you use it just press it once as usual.

I just got one of these on Ebay, exactly the same, minus the RH branding. Interestingly, the fan on mine, on low or high, is really quiet, a lot quieter than that one, I could easily sleep next to it. The main thing I'm trying to find out is do you think this thing is safe to be left alone? You left it alone for hour, so I'm figuring it must be reasonably safe. I'm looking to use it to warm up my living room on the cheaper rate earlier in the morning using the timer, but only as long as it's safe and not a fire hazard. It does say not to leave it unattended on the box.

None of that helps me I'm on a PS4. But I've played the campaign three times got at least three quarters of the way through and once it froze and said corrupt data needs to be erased then it erased it for me I done it again or played the game again and got even further and when I got back on to Play it again the next time all my data was gone. This has happened to me three times already.
