Yes. However, the trailer paint seems to rub off wherever there are raised points like the sharp points on a grain trailer or rivets on a van trailer.

Nice tip! How exactly does it avoid taking paint off the base layer? Just because you're not using much?

yeah, don't smudge too hard and it won't come off

My guess is the base coat is applied similarly to spraying a real car maybe? Then the second coat was applied differently. Maybe no hardner perhaps. The base coat can dull a bit.
