-Removing rust from a wood or gas stove before refurbishing and repainting with Stove Bright® or any other high temp paint
-Do not use chemical rust removers. It will affect the repaint.
-Use Scotch Brite pad or sandpaper to remove the rust.
-Wipe it down with paint prep and continue to remove rust.
-Use a wire brush or a drill with wire attachment to remove rust along with the sandpaper.
-Sand blasting is always an option for rust removal as well.
