I couldn’t get myself to spend $500 on the USA made Mini Ductor, so I went with the next best which was the Chinese version of the mini inductor that I picked up on eBay for under $200 which saved me about $300 and it works just as well as the original. Check out the link below to purchase the same one I bought.

That's great bang for the buck at the 1000w level. But I wish there was a Chinese 1800w unit. That would be killer.

I have the same unit, bought it on Amazon, I think around $210. Been using it the past couple of weeks on a Kenworth. No issues with it, and have been removing mainly flair fittings from the turbo and block, real tight spaces too, barely get a wrench in. Keeping mine, as it is a fastener and knuckle saver.

Thanks for taking the time to view my video review. Yes this thing is amazing. I’ve used it a couple times and hasn’t let me down. Recently I used it to loosen the bolt that lowers the spare tire that sits under the car. I tried a breaker bar, no luck, I then hit it with a heavy duty impact gun, no luck, I thought I would have to torch it off and then decided to try the heat inductor. The bolt turned like it was coated in butter !! Lol. It’s truly worth every dollar spent. Even for the DIYer

Bob that’s great ! It really works very well. My only disappointment is that I don’t have more uses for it. Got rid of my rusty explorer, that would’ve be great for this. I would’ve removed every rusty bolt just because I could. Lol. Seriously tho. You will be very happy with this. Just be patient with it and let that bolt / nut start burning red before you attempt to turn it with a wrench. I need to do more videos on this, I just don’t have any rusty bolts at the moment. Hey ! Maybe I’ll just sneak under my neighbors car and remove his exhaust 😂. Damn I hope he doesn’t read this tread 😳

@@crushrreviews this could be useful for soldering rod to cover metal holes. Have you tried it for that? Lay this on the metal and the soldering rod on the center until they melt together

@@BOREDANDWELLBORED I never thought of that. But it’s an interesting idea. If I try it. I’ll be sure to post a video of it. Have you tried it?

@@crushrreviews not yet, I literally just ordered it 30 minutes before making that comment. I nearly bought the Weller solder and then I just felt like there must be something better you know. Sure enough I ran into this product, it may eliminate my welding machine. Life moves on. If this thing heats up areas to the point the metal glows red in minutes, the welding rod melts the same way, then this will be the product of the future.

@@crushrreviews I take that back, this can't replace welding. Nothing beats metal to metal contact. But it can eliminate soldering for sure. I just watched a video of the latest 1,250W version reaching 1,000 degrees in 60 seconds lol. That's insane. 60 seconds. Who needs soldering iron then? You can even shape the bronze metal to any shape, just use thick copper wires from home depot. Anyways I can't wait when it arrives

That thing is pretty cool, should work great on exhaust bolts. Think I can use it to light my cigars? 😎

Hey ! Not a bad idea. Unfortunately I think it will only heat ferrous metals, but I will definitely try lighting a cigar with it ! I’ll post a video when I try it

I went with this one because the reviews were good and I didn’t want to spend the extra cash for the USA ones. I don’t use it very often, so I figure this will last me a while. So far it’s been great. Used it several times and I’ve been successful every time at getting the nuts and bolts off.

Hi, I know this video was made back in Jan 2021. Now is Sept, how many times have you used it? How is holding out?

Hey Keadken, first of all thanks for watching my video review of this. I’m gonna say Ive used it about 5 times since the unboxing video and it works like a charm. I’ve taken out exhaust bolts with it and even used it on a rusty sway bar link bolt. All with excellent results. I’m a DIY guy and use it in my home garage. I have to say it’s well worth the money and still holding up. I’m still on my first heating coil. It comes with 6. Of yours thinking about it and know you’ll use it a handful of times, then I say go for it.

I’m sorry to hear that. I would reach out to the credit card company and open a dispute. The credit card companies are very good at getting a refund. I wouldn’t just give up.

Where did you buy yours? On eBay? And which brand is it? If it’s the same one I have in my video I might be able to check the paperwork in mine for manufacturer contact info.

Mine came with a 2 yr warranty, so if you bought yours using the link in my video description, then you might be in luck for a warranty replacement.

Run time on these units is roughly 2 to 3 minutes then you need to shut it down to rest. I ran mine to the point of failure, the overload feature kicked in and shut it down. I got the fastener removed, so let it rest, and it then was back in working order in around 15 minutes. No issues since that episode, it is still removing fasteners.
