Remove Side Mirror - Infiniti M45 M35

Between this video on how to replace the mirror AND your door panel removal/replacement video, I was EASILY able to replace my 2006 Infiniti M35x passenger side mirror. It came apart and went back together again just as you have shown. The whole process was a fairly relaxed ~30-45 minutes from start to finish! KUDOS! I can't remember the last time I worked on a modern car and everything went as advertised. Thanks for posting this video! I have a weak window motor on that door also and I almost look forward to replacing it when it finally gives up the ghost. ;-)

Thanks for posting this video. My mirror was broken and when I saw how easy you made it look and did it step by step I figured I'd try it. It was so simple ... and saved a lot of my doing it myself vs having the dealer do it. Thanks again!!!

That's what I like to hear! ebay for cheap parts + youtube for howto videos... what a time to be alive. Btw, I replaced a friend's mirror recently. *13 minutes start to finish* although I did not fully remove the door panel. She had told me that nobody wanted to touch it because it was an Infiniti.

@@EdBwoy my fiancee has a m35 and her touch screen won't come on. Sometimes it comes on and shut off. But never stays on. Do you have any suggestions or have you ever seen this problem?

I've heard of them going bad. Usually it's by getting dim & hard to see, then they go black. Try replacing the display

I’ve noticed that the jdm side view mirrors for these cars have cameras on them. Do you think it would be possible to install those onto a USA spec car?

I think you'd need way more than the mirror itself. I dont know if the car would know what to do with the extra camera.

Btw, because they are RHD, jdm side mirror glass + operation is very inconvenient for the USDM market and roads.

Where to find cheap mirrors? My niece broke off her driver mirror housing on 2012 m37. It's like over $500 used on ebay.
