A stripped screw is one in which the slots in the top of a screw have worn out. This makes it difficult for a screwdriver to grasp the screw and turn it. Check out this video to see how we remove a stripped screw with the soldering iron and paste flux.

It works... but you need to solder and to use solder flux / paste. When I was younger, when I had to take off the plastic mid frame of my ZenFone 2, secured by a lot of screws (and 3 or 4 stripped screws), after trying a couple methods (including the elastic)... I ended up cutting the plastic mid frame around the tripped screws 🤣 🤣 🤣

It uses capillary action to draw the molten led or solder into places you need them like with pipes and stuff but if you have easy access to the area there is no need
