I just used a big rubber band on the end of a philips drill bit. Took seconds to do the job.

Hey Kirk, I have the same scooter and I have the key. My issue is when we moving it I think we broke the steering lock on it. Do you have any advice or can you point me in the right direction to fix it or bypass it to start the scooter. Thank you in advance.

How did you get the gas cap off I'm thinking of buying a ruckus but the guy lost the keys he says he has the title in his name so Im hoping it's not stolen

Jay420r I’ve heard of people drilling the cap lock barrel out then just twisting it off like a normal no locking cap. Super dangerous though since the gas could catch a spark and explode. Best thing to do would be go to a Honda dealer and get a replacement key. Or pick the lock. It’s probably a fairly simple pick job.

i have the same problem supposedly the key code is on the ignition cylinder , on the gas cap , and on the helmet lock My gas cap was changed so no good there for me , gotta check if i have a helmet lock snd if theyre is a code - otherwise ill have a locksmith do what you did but i'll remove plastic from the ignition cylinder to look for key code then just give it to honda dealer or buy blanks/ have key cut on ebay if i have code
