@@cheesegrits196 Same here! And the combo of a compound and steel wool makes it super effective. I saw one person using a razor blade. That’s a little risky to me 😳

Can you use this method on the roof or hood of your car if it has water spots on it?

I would not use steel wool on paint. If you have water spots on the exterior paint of the car, I would recommend washing and claying it. If the clay doesn’t remove the spots, you can also hand polish the surface after claying it. But use a very soft foam applicator for that. There are also water spot removing chemicals you can try. You would want to be very cautious with that chemical though because it is highly acidic. But no, I would not put steel wool on paint. Ever. It would be bad.
