I almost pissed myself laughing when I went to do a test to be a citizen in Vault City and forgot I had a mutated finger. When Proconsul Gregory went to examine me he was screaming like a hysterical little girl calling me a mutant! I felt the emotion of the scene without him even having a Talking Head. Fallout is amazing at immersing you with just words.

There's a point where the game forces you to sit down in a torture chair that saps health (that's right, a game about choice forces the choice on you), and if you only have 1 health point, because it's supposed to be an intellectual game and you chose to invest in more intellectual characteristics, then it's immediately Game Over. The only way to proceed is to start all over from the very beginning with a new character build - _That_ is just dumb!
