Yeah, the Battle Stage change pissed me off so damn much. Not only did they move some from the battle stages to the Amber Market. But they also moved some to limited time battles. Some of which I’ve rarely, if at all, partook in.

I think it's ridiculous how some of the dinosaurs aren't even unlockable anymore. I was gonna get carnoraptor but realised pyroraptor was locked behind the amber resource. 400,000 amber to get a dimetrodon or any legendary to level 40 is ridiculous. Makes it hard for new players to unlock certain dinosaurs.

Technically you can still get those dinos without spending amber, it was just a matter of "gambling" on the VIP battle packs and the percentage chance to get them. Considering how many commons, rares, super rares, and legendaries were in those packs the chance of getting a Dimetrodon or Pyroraptor or a certain aquatic or glacier (that would normally nowadays cost amber to purchase) was and still is pretty small.

how about the old "Large Pterosaur" defeated animation? now it flops over after it stands up and its left wing goes to it's right side and it flops over. it used to do a dramatic fall over, pick itself up and fall over very quickly as it's old defeat animation, such shown in 0:12 , EXTREMELY briefly

same with the Koolasuchus rig defeat animation, and the "Crocodile" rig defeat animation, those were also changed, as well as the camera angle for the defeat animation of the "Raptor" animation on the player side, and the camera angle for the entering battle animation of the Koolasuchus rig again. no idea why they changed these

I remember this after reading your comment! I play JWA a lot now (used to play JWTG and JPTB but one of these went bankrupt and the other sucks). I see a lot of repeated animation in JWA that genuinely make me frustrated, but I digress, I remember playing JWTG as a kid and seeing the monstrosity of Allosaurus and Giganotosaurus and wondering "WTH are these designs, Ludia?".

Legit miss the Brawlasaur feature so much. I think those toys where prob some of the best from Hasbros JW toyline and deserved to stay as a thing you could use in game, of course with maybe buffing them up a bit.

As someone who has been playing this game since 2015 as well, this gave me a huge nostalgia kick! Some of the old models were really great. Since we're now getting celebrity dinosaurs, Universal could do the ultimate chad move and declare that their own models are so famous that they will be re-released as celebrity creatures. That would be so cool! Imagine unlocking the "2015 chunky Argentio" or the "old school turquoise Indominus" Also, it's time for another Land vs Aquatic battle stage! Since the glitch was apparently too "goofy" to be in the game, why not give us an April Fools Event, where you can be as silly as you want? They let us fight goats in JWA, why no flying Mosa in JWTG??

Something really small I’ve noticed they changed is that with the small amphibian animation in the enclosure, its jaw stays closed instead of opening in the idle animation. I really like it because it made them feel more derpy and charming.

There's one thing I was waiting for and that was back then, you had to press the feed button 4-5 times to level up a dinosaur rather than the instant 1 tap to level up a dinosaur.

What’s much worse about the amber market creatures is that for a while before they were put into the amber market it was impossible to unlock them at all (because that’s when they introduced the specific battle events to unlock specific creatures and many like the dimetrodon didn’t get an event dedicated to it) and their response to this was putting them into the amber market. So it is a bad solution but it’s better than what it was like a few years ago.

I also think they changed the death animation for the Azhdarchid Pterosaurs aswell. At first they would fall to the ground flat while kinda banging their head on the ground in the process but now they die sideways and they don't bang their head now aswell

Once I had a phone that had Jurassic World the game in it, and in that phone I had an Indominus Rex level 40, but then I broke that phone and I had it replaced with an iPhone and I lost all the data that I had previously, including the Indominus Rex, but now I have an indoraptor level 40, but I had to spend money for it 😅

i found a game that is right up your ally. its called Beasts of Bermuda. Its early access and its like the isle but less buggy and more dinosaur save files.

There were 2 glitches that stayed in the game for quite a while and one you used a lot my little beaver friend. The first glitch was the extra battle stage infinite pack. During the battle stage infinite random pack glitch was happening there was another glitch that would happen when you beat the battle stage infinite. The game would not only reward you with the pack that you won, but after will let you get a free rare pack. Apparently the Battle stage infinite back then didn't work properly giving the mode to randomize the pack and give you the rare pack which was supposedly an offer pack. The 2nd one was the exit battle advantage exploit glitch. This glitch is famous because James used the hell out of it way back in the days. Because ludia didn't know what balance was back then. The game would use the strongest creatures in the game and have you battle them all the time. What you would do to activate the glitch was attack the enemy to see how many blacks they had, before the animation started you exit the game, close the app and then open it again. The game would then believe you didn't do your turn making you redo it. This would make you have the advantage of how many blocks the computer went for making you reserve, block and attack accordingly. This also worked when the computer attacked you. When you needed to reserve when the opponent was too strong, on your turn you would block for one and quit the game when the computer had its turn. The computer would then believe it can K.O you in one turn and attack for one and black for 3. This game always had funny and exploited moments that I will always remember. Oh and something that was also removed from the game by James was the nicknames and funny voices. But that's just evolution 🧬❤

just one quick thing, legendary packs do still exist in the battle stage infinite! they're just ... astronomically rare i think i got a legendary pack on like my 5th ever battle stage infinite and got 1500 bucks from it, so they're still in there, it's basically like finding a shiny pokemon except the shinys actually more than just a different skin

This is the biggest blast if mostalgia I've had in a long time. I forgot about most of the games features, especially the removed ones, so every other second I was transported back to grinding the game. I remember watching your videos of this game all the time in 2016 to 18. Back in the golden age of the game, when I was low-key addicted to it 😅. I haven't touched it in a few years and honestly it's kind of sad to see how far the game has fallen. I'd never even heard of the amber system before this video, and the fact they locked some of the base game dinosaurs behind it sucks. Oh well at least I still have old videos to go back to and reminisce over.

6:16 I remember the brawlasaurs, I had a green stego, a blue triceratops, and a red T. rex, and… they were my strongest dinos at the time… After they primed that feature, I still kept them because I loved them, until my then 1 year old brother decided to take them and play with them in my room, which I never noticed because he stuffed them in a drawer. My parents then proceeded to chew me out for bringing toys into my bedroom (it was a weird house rule) and they threw them out. I never saw them again😢…

I dunno if I misremembered it but when I started playing the game the raptors had a different 8/8 move than what it had now, and I think the dilo too The raptors would call two other raptors so they could attack as a pack, and I remember the dilo having a 'spit' effect after showing its frills and before pouncing

I remember the exploit where if you didn't want a move to happen you could close out and reopen the game again and it would restart the turn before it even happened. Essentially an easy way to win the battles lol

The thing that annoyed me most when I returned to the game last year, was the new prize wheel. At some point the removed the old system(where it was spinning, and you’d tap to stop)and replaced it with the garbage we have now. So yeah the old prize wheel, removed and dearly missed. (The reason I hate the new thing so much is because it is 100% chance, and probably rigged so it’s basically impossible to get anything good, whereas before you could wait until the loop was over and then try to estimate the right moment to stop so you could get event packs from tournaments for example)
