Thanks for this, i have a Meta Systems on my 2006 Hayabusa, been driving me mad, new battery's in the fob and allsorts, sometimes has taken 10 minutes of farting about to get it to disarm, also has a strange quirk in that the kill switch must be in the off position before it's disarmed, the starting procedure is more complex than a helicopter lol, don't need the system anyway as the bike is not left anywhere (and i actually forgot to tell the insurance it's fitted) but was dreading dealing with it as i hate wiring/electronics.

The bypass plug worked OK, But I ended up removing the harness only a couple of wires to re solder side stand circuit and ignition circuit usually.

All these alarms do is 'interrupt' the power in (usually) 2 places....(the starter circuit and the actual ignition circuit)....once the wires that have been interrupted are found...splice/solder the original wires together...and presto...no more alarm problems...these alarms, once they are a few years old are a pain in the arse !...

I'm hoping I get no problem with my ZX9r's alarm, still works perfectly at 21 y/o, pretty much always has been kept outside too, even before I owned it (sat for seven years unused outside too, poor bike).

Thank you. That comment was a lot more useful than this video which told me nothing whatsoever.
