I like the use of an old flywheel to pull the metal posts. Good idea.

Nice job, Brock. I was watching and thought “He’s a pro working with barbed wire - look at those nice coils he made, I’ll comment on that”. And then I saw you use that flywheel - that’s a genius solution! I’ve rocked those things back and forth and tweaked my back a few times pulling those old fence posts out. Nice solution. #purplecollarlife

Nice work Brock, I like the choke chain with the HD carabiner. I know what you mean about the heat, we spent the weekend up north where i was in coat most the time, now back to reality with the heat! Have a good one.

Get yourself a wide brimmed straw hat. They work wonders when working in the sun! Wouldn't be caught without mine now.

Great suggestion I actually got one and wore it the week I got the 500i. The hat was nice but It was too small for my head so I need a new one

Where did you get that round plate that slides over the t post? I have a bunch of t posts to pull and that looks easier than wrapping a chain each time.

It’s a fly wheel out of an old car. The guy that’s buying the used fencing from me has kept it for years for pulling fence post

If you struggle to lift the big posts with the lift rams, crowd under to hook chain, take the strain on your lift rams then crowd up. The crowd rams are always stronger than the lift rams

Do you think you are a good example for younger viewers? Working in tall grass and handling barb wire. Kid will say I saw it on KZbin!
@RockhillfarmYT3 жыл бұрын
Sorry, but I’m not sure I understand the question. I don’t think a lot of “younger viewers” watch videos about removing Barbwire fence. Are you saying it would be safer if I weeded around the fence before removing the wire?
@stephensorrells40213 ай бұрын
@@RockhillfarmYT This is not a good example. Shorts and tshirt not a good idea around barb wire. Plus those glasses look like the $2.95 ones from walmart. Ok for cutting grass but not appropriate around metal of any kind. And, if you drop all those old wire clips on the ground and in the grass, get ready to fix some flat tires later on.

@@stephensorrells4021 yeah. Probably should’ve been in a hazmat suit with spotters and an on-site ambulance for back up. It’s just some fence not a nuclear reactor
