Awesome vid Jonathan. I've used paint strippers in the past but found them to be inconvenient on a number of levels. Cost, mess, and occasionally they seem to leave dark marks on wood that I then need to remove later. I've been scraping finishes off lately, but I'm going to give this method a try next!

Hi Jonathon, I have a Parker Furniture lounge chair. I'm pretty sure that the original finish is lacquer rather than Danish oil. Would this technique remove the lacquer? Thanks.

If it's a lacquer finish you'll have to use paint stripper.. when you refinish the chair I would advise you use danish oil...
