I keep just one pair of bullfinches with my other mixed birds as two cock bullfinches will fight as breeding season starts.

Bobbin` the eggs in water.The most important comment you made,was to say that sometimes it can take a min or so for the eggs to start to move.Have some patience.I`ve had canary eggs hatch on or about the 19th day.In my opinion this is more common with the bigger breeds.like Norwich or Yorkshires.
