One thing I can never seem to find is a gold sulfide... I tried and tried, but never can find any references even n web minerals and mindat...

Strictly speaking gold does not combine with sulfur. However, it does occur as micro-inclusions in and around sulfide crystals. It does combine with tellurium to form telluride minerals that look very much like pyrite and other sulfides.
