Thanks so much! Saved me a lot of headache as I bought the car with the small cap missing on the passenger side, had a replacement cap and did not understand why I can't fit it. This video made me realize I still had the black part of the cap inside the door, and I had to remove it to fit the new part.

I'm painting the replacement at the moment where the old one snapped, I'll do a short clip at the end of the video showing how to do it but it's practically identical 👍

Hey, I was able to uninstall the driver side handle, but on the passenger side I don't have a screw behind the rubber. I tried to pry the "cap" part of the handle from outside, no luck, no clue how to move on. Any tips? Many thanks!

Hi, not saying you wouldn't have thought to check with a torch 😂 but is there definitely no screw? If there's not I'd try giving it a push to knock the barrel out of its seat, as I did in the video after I unscrewed it. But then you run the risk of the barrel being loose once you've pushed it out of its seat and not having a screw to hold it back together again. You're welcome to send me a video on Instagram if that doesn't work

@@marcus_motors_The barrel was fixed with some kind of silicone / glue, I guess something fishy happened by the previous owner, that's why I didn't have a screw either... I applied a little bit more force than the "comfortable" amount and it finally popped out. Too bad the void of the door swallowed one of my bithead in the process... I'm going to try to fish it out somehow later. Many thanks for your help and for your videos!

Ahhh right, didn't think it sounded right that it was still being held in position. Wouldn't know where to look for a spare but at least you know silicone would be enough. Maybe a magnet on the inside of the door and slide it back up the hole? Thanks mate, see hoe you get on

Hi can you show us how to remove/replace center wheel hub caps please also what mm I'd need

Just the badges in the centre? When I changed mine, I pierced the badge with a hook tool and just pulled them out. Rather than mark your alloy by going in at the edge.

@Marcus Motors I'm not sure what size I'd need is it 60mm? I have a 2016 Giulietta. It's the same process - they have a sticky back?

I completely missed that bit 😂 I had 60mm, I've got the standard turbines, haven't seen a difference between specs. Be safe and measure them. No not sticky back, you want the one with white plastic tabs, not the metal rings

If you don't want to ruin the old ones for whatever reason you could take the wheel off. But I've never needed the cap off for anything other than changing them, so the easiest way is just break them apart staying away from the actually wheel and pop the new ones in.

Hi mate, did you give the bolt a little tap back in once you wound it out? That loosens the barrel

Don't like knock fuck out of it 😂 just push it back in with out screwing it. Watch from 1:00 and you can see I don't push very hard at like 1:10 mark 👍

@@marcus_motors_ yes "beating" was not the right word I guess 😀, anyway it worked perfectly! It came out with no effort in this way and did all the job in 5 mins. Thank you again! Best video on YT, other guys broke some parts in this process in their video and that did not make me comfortable at all.

Nah mate don't need to touch anything on the inside of the door, just the screw along the side, then the rest from the outside

Sounds so good, looks easy, but it's not: by holding the torx screw to maintain the inner part of the handle in position, the whole part can falls down into the door. Besides, it's easy to loose it inside the door when you're trying to put the handle. I had to replace a broken handle due to an assault and this video tutorial only presents the "happy path"... I recommend to leave the car in a workshop.

@@marcus_motors_ It’s gone right in to the bottom corner, no change of getting it, I don’t think. I’ve managed to secure it with a screw right in to the plastic where the barrel would otherwise be… will probably just 3D print a replacement. Took the door card off and tried to spy it through the opening for the window clip but no joy. Guess the only way would be to drill out the rivets behind the door card and then reattach but not worth the effort haha. Thanks for the video though - would never have attempted this myself, otherwise! Most importantly I was able to fix the broken handle for no cost by gluing it :-)

If I had a 3d printer, I don't think I'd be drilling out the rivets for that 😂 feel like I did more damage than good on this one 😂
