Fantastic job guys! Nicely explained and just watching this I felt like I got poison ivy. Every time I'm doing work in the woods it finds me.

I've pulled so many multiflora that i gave myself trigger fingers and carpal tunnel. I don't dig it out, i just pull. I've recently taken to poisoning the stem cuttings. I love hating multiflora.

I'm skeptical of this. I'd suspect this unavoidably end with breaking off roots that stay in ground and then re-sprout later. I think you'd be better cut and dab cut offs with Round Up plus be much more time efficient. Given the extent of the problem time investment is critical.

Round up is a defoliant and not a systemic herbacide You will have to go back no matter what The seeds can stay dormant for 10 years. Get out there and pull them .

Have no idea why people pull woody invasives unless high profile area and even then. Chop Drop Treat. More time actually killing. Pull vs Killing? No brainer but obviously oblivious

Some of us would prefer not to use poison. There is plenty of opportunity for contamination that harms other living things. No thank you
