Great job so far! Can’t wait to see it done. Where are you getting your frame rail replacement? I have the same car, and went on the Crites restoration website and it says they’re out of business.

You guys need to be more careful on what you’re destroying when you’re taking things apart on your Fairlane. You seem to be operating under the assumption that everything is easily replaceable. You should be aware that the 62-65 Fairlane suspension both front and rear are a stand alone design, no Mustang or Falcon parts fit. So what is available is expensive when it is available. One thing change the lower shock mount on the upper control arm to a 66 and later design so you can get shocks, shocks to fit your car now are unavailable.

66 and later fairlane? I am wanting to add coil overs to my 64 and have found what you say to be very true!! I ended up getting a passenger frame extension replacement from auto Krafters. They’re the only ones who have them for sale now. I’m not exactly impressed with its fabrication, welds looks elementary but appear to be full penetration.
