F-5E has more thrust dry than the F-5C does with afterburner on. I got a talisman on it back when it was still 11.0 because of how much I liked it, but now at 10.7 with the matchmaking being the same as 10.3 99% of the time I just have an massively upgraded premium F-5C at practically the same BR.

I think that going for the A-10s was a good idea since they would've just drained your team's tickets by themselves and by the time you kill the fighters, plus they would've been impossible to find

My favourite jet in the game. Loses 0 speed when you're near mach but turns like a bi-plane at about 600-800kph. + the 20mm's actually do good damage.

I got the free F-5A (USA) and used it to grind up to the F-5E, the E was always one of few planes that could reliably beat me in the A. The F-5E is the very agile and slippery opponent with only downsides being top speed and firepower. Always an excellent plane to fly out and now that it cant see top tier matchmaker its back to being a top-dogfighter and excellent plane! The guns were always a little anemic and the missiles were always outshined by some other options for its tier but with the planes manuverability and good aim it still shreds! Still my favorite jet!

kinda lucky, in the kfir (also 10.7) ive had 300+ games and probably 3-5 11.7 games and a fair but of 11.3, but mostly just 11.0 and 10.7 games basically, 10.7 is a goatee br

Ive spent the past week grinding to the Chinese F-5E with the A-5C and i can confirm that i run for my life when i see an F-5E in the area. The F-5E is an absolute menace and if it wasn't for the Kfir Canard i would say it is top dog at 10.7. (Kfir Canard Video When?) On a separate note Walv!s the A-5C might make for a good video. Its one of those planes that used to be very strong a few years ago but now with the hordes of premiums that is the 9.7 - 10.7 matchmaker it can be a real struggle bus since the A-5C compresses really hard above Mach 0.85 and *_Everything You Fight, Every Match_* doesn't compress at that speed (F-5's, J-35's, Mig-21's, Kfir's). The A-5C has some strengths like its ability to rate very well around 800 KPH but its strengths are quite limited against the planes it faces so i think it might be a cool more niche jet that could make for an interesting video

How do you use the Su17M2 Walvis? Every match I get some F4 or other US jet rushes all the bases before I can get there and/or I get show down by a missile before I can reach a base

The F-5 is also the most durable fighter in the game, almost on par with the SU-25 which does not make much sense.

Since I loved the Kurnass I wanted to buy the F-4S to get that top phantom action back. Will I be missing something by farming the F-5E and not getting the C to play with friends? (they already have the C)

I'd personally get the F-5C, for two reasons: 1. It's the best US tier 7 Premium. 2. There is no techtree US 10.3 F-5, while the F-4S is almost identical to the F-4J.' I think most people would be more happy with the F-5C. Especially given the current matchmaker. + Nothing beats playing with friends. :)

F5E is my favorite jet in war thunder that I have played (not yet to top teir), it’s just better than the F5C. That said, while I agree that you almost never get upteirs to 11.7, there is one small difference in the matchmaker. The F5E can’t be downteired to 9.3 and beat up on poor innocent F-100 and F-104 players unlike the F5C

okay the one question I have to ask because 2:22 minutes into the clip i havent been able to confirm the skill level of your crew. If that's a green crew, or even an expert crew/ they're both a night and day difference from an Ace crew, throwing your whole review out of persepective. I readily admit I'm not the wikipedia on all things WT, but after "Ace"ing an F4S crew, the difference between Expert and Ace was night and day. The F-5E seems to be worthy of putting a Talisman on, and Ace-ing, if you dont already have the F4S, but if you do have the F4S....youre flying the F-5E for pure fun, cuz the F4S has better bonuses (which is exactly what I'm about to do. ;) ) (edit) Having said all that, I look fiorward to learning a new playstyle with the F-5E, and adding those skills to whatever I unlock in the future. You live and learn, or in the case of WT, die and learn, too. 07

I enjoy flying the A-10 (tech tree one ofc). My main problem with this plane is seeing stupid kids who have no right to be at high tiers, have no skill whatsoever or understanding of how Air RB works, just getting rewarded with kills because they're flinging 30G all-aspect shit towards flareless planes. Goes for the Su-25 and A-6 as well. That shit needs to end immediately. There are plenty of very enjoyable planes at 9.0 - 9.7 that are currently being rendered useless due to this bullshit...
