I'm looking forward to the solution for those missing bearing caps. Meanwhile, that airplane sounded too fast to be a Piper Cub, engine rpm was a little high to be characteristic of that model. Definitely a small general aviation plane though, maybe a later model Piper or Cessna.

I see you got one of those mess maker 2000’s also. I’m still a fan of most holes they make, but I don’t care for all the chips that get everywhere in the shop.
