Very nice, Mitch and I liked the back ground music, The Train Kept a Rolling.

Thanks David. I’m trying to change the tunes up. I’m finding some better copyright free music.

It’s like watching a surgeon at work. 👍🏼

This is as close to a surgeon as I will ever be haha. I can’t do medical things lol.

Hey there Mitch, I'm learning something new with every video. This time ... panel separation ... using one of everyone's favorite tools, a wood chisel! That's quite the ding in that frame rail. You'll probably cut that and splice new metal ... and that's probably a subject for the next episode, so until then ... Thanks and take care, Dan

Hey Dan glad you enjoy the videos. These wood tools are foreign to me. That’s not my material of choice lol. Yeah that car had a bad day. But I’ll get it fixed up in no time.

Looking good, Mitch! I'm still watching the "lists" for parts you might be able to use!

Thanks Dr Lee! I hope all is well. That’s right I still need to send you that. I’ll have to do that tonight. Thanks for reminding me!

Thanks for showing us the tools of the trade. WD40 and PB Blaster will always have a home on my work bench. You are really diving into these two projects. What part of the rebuilds do you feel will be the most difficult to accomplish, those parts I most definitely want to watch for. What you are doing is nothing short of amazing. Thanks, take care and be safe.

Thanks for watching Jim. I would say the most difficult part is working on getting coupe doors to fit a birdcage. The roadster wasn’t too bad to fix. It was challenging to fix the pillar that was bent. But everything just takes time and determination.

Another great video Mitch, I wonder if applying a little heat would help with the bonding strip separation. I really admire your work and would love to try something like this but no guts no glory.
@MidYearMitch2 жыл бұрын
Thanks William. It probably would help but sometimes this adhesive is very brittle after 50 years that the panel just separates. It’s definitely a lot of work but it’s worth it in the end.

Love to watch your videos. Im doing a 66 coupe now from gage now. Do you sell parts that you have and not using?

Hi Mitch, I find your videos very informative, but I was wondering if it would be at all possible to approach your description of what you’re doing by verbally narrating your videos so that we can watch you in action and therefore not draw our eyes away to read the written words that become distraction from the tutorial you are giving. It would be great if you would consider it. Thanks!
@MidYearMitch2 жыл бұрын
Hi Manuel thanks I appreciate it. That’s a possibility for future videos. I don’t do it that way because that’s a lot of extra work to record the voiceovers. Depending on the video I might to that though. Especially if it’s a how to video.
