Two things I never used on my boat was the pump out and the freshwater system with heater. The portapottie works just fine and I can empty the tank when necessary at more convenient places and I just carry water bottles and a collapsible 5 gal. water bladder for trips. I’m very tempted to remove at least the hot water tank to save weight.

I'm rewatching a number of your 'how to' videos, including this one, and realized I have never seen you mention how long your porta pottie lasts when out on your longer passages (Dry Tortugas, Berry Is. etc)? And if you know, what is the rated capacity in gallons for your porta potti? Once again, I applaud your efforts to remove weight from the boat, given how much weight you have chosen to add for safety and comfort reasons. Cheers', Cap'n.

Thank you Jack and yes The capacity for that toilet for myself is about 4 to 6 days And remember you can always dump the waste when you're far away from land on the open ocean with no problems And thank you for being an awesome viewer of my channel captain

You should go to Homedepot and get a wax ring to put under porta potty to seal it off.

I don't understand when you go #1 where does it go just down the center of your boat and out the drain? Or does it just stay in the bottom of the boat.

No Joe the Porta-Potty has his own container so you have to empty it out

Hello Captain, i would like to go back to this specific Video to clarify something. i have a portable potty on my boat and would like to add a macerator pump to dump at sea without taking the potty out. if i look at your video i can see that the lines you removed come with some kind of connector at the end, i assume that this should be connected to the potty dump outlet. do you have a part number for that or a picture or maybe an amazon link? this will help a lot. many thanks

Yes you could do that at sea or I can empty it and my septic tank inlet in my house
