Ram Door Vinyl Removal

Hey Guys! Welcome back to the garage. This week I'm taking the factory vinyl decal wrap off the B pillar of the truck. It's a simple, easy process that just requires a screw driver, heat gun, some goof off, and some disposable rags. This process took a total of an hour and a half and only cost $8 (the can of goof off) - Well worth it!

Just did this to my 2500 and I love the new look! Sunlight alone warmed it up enough to peel off. The Goof Off did the trick afterwards for the adhesive residue, just had to be patient with it.

Yeah it took me a bit longer than expected to get the residue off but well worth the final look. No idea why they put this on there from the factory.

Yes. Whatever rag you use just be prepared to throw it out afterwards since it will be impossible to properly clean after. Also be patient. It will take a while to get the adhesive residue completely off.

@@keithsuma3298 to may need to use a regular dish towel/rag if you find the micro fiber starts to leave fuz behind on the glue. Also make sure to test the goof off on an area of paint that isn't visible
