Removing the panel on a Tassimo coffee machine

Thanks for this it was a great help! I needed to replace the bar-code reader on my T40 and wasn't looking forward to removing the panels. I found that the small lugs stopping the panel from sliding are about 5mm high so you do have to prise the side panel out at least this much to allow it to slide. I started at the top as there is a support bracket at the bottom that makes it a bit harder there. But with your advice I managed to get both panels off and on again without any damage at all. Thanks again!

Thanks for your video, i know i would have broken my clips ! I opened mine up thinking it would have been filthy dirty after years of use, i was shocked when i seen how perfectly clean it was. I at least expected to see a dead bug or two. !! Works great, thanks.

Thank you very much, I wish I had looked for this video before sticking four kitchen knives around the side and pulling it towards me, I didn't realise it slid off towards the water tank. All Tassimo tell you to do is descale, descale, descale, but I am descaling mine every week which to be honest, should not happen unless my water supply has concrete mix running through it.

Probably descale every month but the issue are the older machines don't filter the water lol I have a my way 2 machine I plan to descale it right away because I didn't want to waste the brita filter for 2 weeks so ile be using oust in it when I get back then put the filter In it then start buying more filters

Very helpful thanks. I still managed to break the bottom clip though (not that it matters) lol I took my panels off as strangely ours were a cream-ish colour, so I spray painted the panels black to match the rest of the Tassimo. Thanks for the heads up!

Well done Not a trip to the dump both panels will remove in same way just fixed a machine that did not display green light so removed a pipe to prime the machine

I did manage to fix it, but can't remember how to be honest! Once I got the panel off though it gave me the access to everything.
