Haven’t finished the video yet, but I’ve seen in a few videos you say you used descale, but then use some type of blue soap in the cannon that’s super runny. If you’re putting a neutral soap on the surface and using descale in the bucket it’s probably getting neutralized as soon as it hits the surface. My favorite method I’ve adopted from Labocosmetica for full decon washes is a high ph snowfoam prewash, then rinse and foam with a low ph soap and let it sit as long as possible without drying, then use a neutral soap in the bucket to neutralize the surface as your washing. I’ve done it with Labo, Carpro, and Koch. All have the 3 ph systems and it works amazing on bringing back hydrophobics and dealing with light water spotting and lightly bonded contaminants without the need for claying or polishing.

Good points all around. I add Koch MSN to the foamer along with Meg d111 (blue soap) to act as a carrier. I’ve mainly found these cleaners and descale do better to remove road grime and haven’t had much luck with water spots. Same story with Delete. Chem-X has a good two part system just as you describe for contact free washing.

Nice work! I really expected Delete to do something for you. Any ideas why it didn’t have an effect?

I always seem to end up polishing water spots.

It's weird how water spots can be tough to remove. Looking good.

Yeah, my chemical fix rate is zero so far. Polishing always does the trick in short order.
