Yeah Remy so gutted for Alex he’s an absolute shredder would’ve been so sick to see you and him shred crazy Mary That is some trail massive respect and credit to whoever built that

Cheers to Dave and the crew for that wonderful trail in Castlegar, and great to see you riding it. It has a little bit of everything, and that climb...feels like you're descending for half the climb! Another fantastic year of videos- informative, exciting and just a fantastic escape from the grind. Thanks Rémy for sharing your gifts of riding and video editing. God bless, and keep shredding!

I wonder if they’re running CushCore? I haven’t had a flat or any tire issues for three years with CushCore and I ride trails just as gnarly as these.

It would have been too much weight to bear…🐻

It's actually very impressive to see how far Remy look while riding. At 8:21 he saw the bear while riding at he's speed, super impressive

I think the wide angle of the GoPro makes thing look farther than they are but I'm sure he's looking much farther ahead than most.

I am not sure how Captain Kangaroo obtained the title of the "World's Best Rated" trail on Trailforks but I know exactly how Alex felt at the top as I tore a hole in my tire in exactly the same spot a few years ago. Fortunately I was able to put enough darts and plug in the sidewall to make it down. You make the trail look way more interesting than I remember it - probably the speed 🙂 The jumpline looked great!

I often wonder about bears when I’m watching vlogs filmed over there scanning off the trail for something in the background 😂 if I had been Alex pushing my bike down that trail I would’ve been checking my surroundings way to much for bears specially after your sighting 😂

You're not truly gnarly until you scare a bear off the trail😎😎Thanks for the upload!

Whilst travelling Canada in our van, we rode this area/trail but on $160 Walmart bikes !!! Obviously not as fun as you had, we did however see a guy square his rim off that wooden boardwalk jump feature !!! About 10 times the cost of our bikes for his ride 😅

Great riding as always, @Remy you should've chased that bear for a one-of-a-kind POV video!!! I always contemplate between carrying a tube and putting a cushcore (both have downsides but can plug these situations). Bummed for Alex the shredder that it happened so early in the ride.

While I was watching the video, in addition to being impressed by the beauty of the Trail and the forest in which it is housed, I wondered (since we also build mountain bike trails here) how many people and time it had taken to build it... are they all volunteers or Is it a trail building company that built it? thank you.. Riccardo from Italy 🍻

Looks like a super fun trail, nice climb to get to it, but, Ride Smash and Bash and that's what happens. You could see that Alex wasn't really picking the best/smoothest lines compared to Remi. Have absolutely no sympathy for Alex or Remi or anyone else who goes out without the basics, tube, pump, tyre boot, that could easily been booted and ridden out.

Is Canadian currency like US paper money? In the US I've used bills to cover large sidewall tears, but you'd need to carry a tube as well 😁 Now I just keep a pack of Park tool sidewall stickers in my bag, they actually work with tubeless.

Great video, trail looked pretty cool. I was surprised the top half of that a trail that was ranked so high didn't have more jump/stunts in it. Remy That bike has got quite a bit of noise to it I'm surprised you haven't tried to figure that out. That would drive me insane
@remymetaillerАй бұрын
Yeah the top part was definitely more flow than features, the bike noise is largely amplified by the silent hub. The new spindrift is completely quiet though.
