I will say we all know or knew someone who may not be with us now, that would love this my grandad loved music. He helped me follow anything musical. Be it listening playing or going to see gigs. He loved music as much as I do and I see it as he's proud of my choices in music. So people don't have to be here with us. The thought of him tapping his steering wheel to a song while driving makes me glow like a neon light.

I wouldn't say 'ever'. They played good music on the radio, if you go back a few decades. ;) It was still mainly pop and chart stuff but they played a lot of real music too. Hell, there was even good music IN the charts! Maybe 'in the last 20 or 25 years' though... :)
