I know most people prefer the studio version, and I do love it, because it has Ren’s magic in it, but I just the rawness and slight darkness in this live version. Liked your bit of beatboxing at the of the first time round

I was SO looking forward to this reaction! It's one of my favorite Ren songs and versions cuz it's so visceral. His voice IS his instrument. His vocal agility blows me away every time. Loved your jam as always as well as your beatboxing. 💖🙋‍♀️

So impressed with jamming skills! One curious thing about the lyrics is "Noah was late for the ark". I heard Ren asked about the meaning, he said its up to us to interpret it. It does trigger much thought. 🤔

Really enjoyed your beatboxing and jamming over that version of Genesis 🎶🎸🤩 Hope it'll be a live with Ren some day! Connor is Ren's biggest fan and a friend of Sam Tompkins's, they met while Sam started busking in Brighton, Ren offered to play the guitar so that Sam could get people's attention with his singing and instantly people stopped. There's a video of that moment somewhere 😊

I like the way you wrap up Ren's songs by doing 2 popular versions of them. A very good use of the wheel. One phrase just clicked with me on this listen... "Pupils dilate in the dark, People dilate (die, late) in the dark". Always wondered how ppl dilated in the dark. Just let the lyrics pass through me without understanding as is often the case with complex artists. With every listen I find another gen, another layer. Love your jam-a-longs; not overpowering, just a nice accompaniment adding a little spice and depth.

There is waaay to many now, you have prob already done most, Humble, For Joe, back on 74, Freckled angels when he did it live in Berlin just months after Joe past away, live stuff with Liv Sangster, Live stuff with Ruby Jay….. there is to much to say… a lot of us have binge watched everything REN but re living it with reactors is beautiful. My analogy is that it’s amazing to sit on a beach and watch the sun rise, it’s even more amazing to sit with a like minded soul and share that same experience……. I don’t know if that makes sense Regardless ❤️🙏
