The Love music series are one of the best ways to see Ren’s growth.. he wrote this 10-15 years ago (before he got sick).. then no 2 was about 8-10 years ago, no. 3 is about 4-6 years ago and no 4 about 2 years ago.. and last year he wrote 5 (not released yet, will most likely go on his next mixtape) It is great following his growth..

Even though Parts 1 and 2 were on the Freckled Angels album released in 2016, Ren wrote Part 1 about 14-15 years ago. He performed it before and also during his time with Trick the Fox.

@@williammiller52 It was just Ren and his bass player Charlie. Towards the end they did get a drummer and they had some bangers, but by this time Ren was the walking dead, he was so sick by then he was bedridden and moved back with his mother.

This series is an amazing way to see Ren's progression. This series just gets better... most prefer 2, 3 or 4. I would say 2 for the schemes, 3 for the vibe and 4 for the fun. So glad you're doing these.

This may have only been put on Ren's channel/released officially on Freckled Angels 8 years ago, but this is prime Teenage Ren--written before he got sick and recorded just as he was getting sick. 💜 My favorite part about Love Music is that you can just _hear_ the progression of a musician getting older and dealing with more darkness (Love Music #3 was during COVID times, for example) but at his core, he still fugging Loves. Music.

The spitting verse in this is one of my entire favourites from Ren. Short but sweet!! The concept of this song came in his Trick the Fox days in the early 2010's. There are a few videos of TTF performing it on YT.
