This just may be the greatest reaction, to this song, that I have seen. It was touching to see how much it affected you - I’ve listened to Money Ties and watched many reactions and I get wonderfully emotional every single time. The magic of Ren is that you not only, hear him - you feel him, you believe him and he makes you want, or actually desire, to take everything he says to heart. I’ve never experienced this with any other artist…ever!! It’s blissful.

Agree with 95% of that comment Izzy. I’ve always seen you as a fan, with a healthy cynicism / never give up your Weltenshaung, without finding new knowledge empirically, or as a confirmation of a strongly suspected view. 😂 Don’t mind me, I’m a confident contrary cnut - I coined renangelist, before renegades - and still think it’s more Susie Dent than Renagade. The former, was me being excited to tell everyone all over the world about Ren. The latter is a betrayer or a desterter, but hey, it’s shorter 😎. Track wise, it’s a song of love and hope, will always dig that as a hippy, mod, casual scooter boy, with verbal IBS. Ta Iizzy ❤️👍🏽👍☘️

Wow, wow wow! Amazing reactions I am finding out! Myself, I don’t think anyone can appreciate Rens abilities completely until you also watch “Earned it/Mans Woeld!” That changed everything for me I was lucky that I went from Hi Ren, his bmost impressive, most agree, then Man’s World, his best vocal performance…IMO and then “The Hunger,” his best rapIMO and hundreds of reactors opinion. ❤ So by the time that afternoon was over 18 months ago, my life had never been the same and I’ve never found another artist woth the wide spread, world renowned abilities that Ren holds. I love the story telling, his lyrics are also unmatched, but when I witnessed those 2 talents, I haven’t listened to another artist hardly ever since. And of all songs, right now, this may be my favorite! Can’t wait to watch more. Thank you guys and kind sir!

He’s one special guy, that’s for sure. ☺️ I was so pleased you’d had a chance to react to this. (I knew you would get round to it.) There aren’t enough adjectives in the dictionary to describe how incredible he is as an artist, creator and man are there?! It was overwhelming to watch, this song was supposed to be released on his sister’s birthday but liquid got spilt on his laptop which corrupted the files. I don’t think his declining health helped either. The love for his sister made me feel quite emotional. The track was produced by Nayz, who had a similar experience with Kujo some years ago so they agreed to collaborate on his 50/50! Again shows was a man Ren is. A wonderful reaction as always Izzy, I bet you’ve listened to the song a few times over by now! 😂 Take care, catch you on the next one. 😊👍

One of the greatest things about this song is it is a positive collaboration that came out of the nightmare situation with Kujo. Ren worked with a producer (Nayz) who had also had unfortunate dealings with Kujo. Ren wanted to do Kujo Beat Down all on his own, but they decided to do a different song together. I’m so glad they did!! Yet again Ren channels and transforms the challenges in life into such beautiful and powerful art 🎁 This is becoming one of my favorites, especially the part for his sister ✨ It brings tears to my eyes. And the B&W video is stunning! The intro passage is directly from the Bible, 1 Timothy 6: 6-10. But it’s consistent with Ren’s ongoing message. And I believe Nayz said they found an orchestral sample from an obscure Japanese film from the 70s. They made sure to clear the sample 😜

Great reaction Izzy. Ren's work is like some form of 4-D chess - it can be affecting on so many different levels. You could just listen to the music on this track and get some much from it . Similarly the lyrics by themselves are poetic enough to stand alone. Then it's taken to a whole new level with a video that is stylistically beautiful enough to be worthy of Anton Corbijn (yet, fittingly in light of the song's subject matter, probably cost pennies to make in comparison to most major mainstream artists' videos. But then, creativity is not measured in £££). Ren has said he is not religious but he is spiritual enough to be able to use a fitting bible verse to preface his song. The man is a genius.

He’s the only artist in my lifetime that I could think of that cause always willing to try something different and still never misses! I mean the whole Kujo beat thing all the other features he had going on, triggered him and put him in the hospital and he still put this out! What can you say aside from Hansel once in the generation artist probably even better person with a relentless work habit! That’s a stick on his message of greed and money to start out with a Bible verse with an orchestra in the background is just a for sure way to lure you in and quickly! Another wonderful breakdown and I love how you mentioned profits early on and then at the end he uses just that no people no prophets, to put a spin on no money no profits! I’m pretty sure we all feel the same way that you do about him. I’ve been following him for four years and just like you whenever I think he’s reached the pinnacle of where he can go because I think he should be known by everybody and I think he will be like a Michael Jackson mega star, but as far as creatively Lyrically how much higher can go and it seems like there’s no limit all while carrying the burden of getting treatments every day and being sick but he’s not going to let anything get in his way from being the voice for the voice and for possibly being the inspiration for someone going through What he was and still is going through and needs a positive message and role model to keep them holding on! Like he says, when I was at my lowest praying, clawing at the laminate I wish there were more stories of hope! Sorry for such a long message but what a great piece of art and I know that you will read it and understand me and relate to what I’m saying and most likely agree.
