Hey there. The sacks represent old time money bags. To me it represents how blinded humanity is by greed
@yonahgrossman73192 ай бұрын
Ren has never said these bags (which also appear in ALL MY LIFE and CRUCIFY YOUR CULTURE) are old time money bags (which have money symbols on them and aren't tied with thick ropes). What he's said in interviews is they are "hostage hoods", so you are right about the meaning that we're all hostages to the MONEY GAME.

An absolute masterpiece. MG3 has won many awards.

Wanting enough money so you know if something goes wrong (accident, fire whatever) you have enough for food, shelter and and a basic level of safety is not wrong. Ren acknowledges his place in the game, which stops this from being preachy and instead promotes thought and introspection. It's really quite brilliant.

🤑💰we all have a money bag over our head Because we are all part of this old Mvoney Game and yet we're blind to it & what the game is doing to the society we all live in.✌

Thanks. Nice reaction 👍❤. By the way, there are two great behind the scenes videos for Money Game 3 by Wolf Johnson And a few suggestions (that's certainly lacking😉): - "Eden" is a kind of continuation of the Money Game Trilogy. - "One Million Subscribers - Defining Success": More wise words and emotions of Ren. Not a song but absolutely worth watching. - "Ren ft. Bibi - Crutch": IMHO absolutely underrated older song. Crutch dates back to a time when Ren didn't have his diagnosis yet and thought he wouldn't live much longer. Heartbreaking, beautiful and deep. It has a great no-budget video as well.

Money bags over heads, part of the money game. We are taught to look after ourselves rather than looking after our whole. My view on all of this is that you need ups and downs in your life, if you have ice-cream every day it no longer tastes nice. Money troubles are downs that make the ups feel better. Money troubles teach you humility, frugality, respect, hard work, planning and so on. You have everything on a plate and you lose those lessons. This is art and there is no right and wrong, don't be apologetic, despite what some may say.

In Ren's old music from 10-12 yrs ago, he has a song called "Love Music"...... he says "keep your beamers and your mansions, he doesn't want them". He just wants enough money for a comfortable living for him and his family. I assume he is taking when he gets married and has kids. Just what you said. Funny on his patreon page today, he was answering questions from his fans. So today he said the same thing, he just wants to make his music and fame and fortune is not his concern or goal. He wants to live like a normal Joe, make his music and make a living doing it. That is his dream.

There are no individual identities in this series, only participants in the money game and the narrator. People wear money sacks tied by rope nooses to emphasize that society as a whole is guilty of willful blindness and about to hang itself. That’s kind of how I interpret it anyway. Thank you for another fun reaction.

-little message for you at the bottom - 😎 Ren uses visuals to repeat the themes from MG1 and MG2 The mirror in the beginning “we point the mirror at ourselves” In the wheelchair with the water falling on him “rain rain rain” Holding the gun…”finger on the trigger of a money game” I would love Ren to do more story telling…he is so captivating. Now a personal observation about you as a reactor…this video…more than any other that I have seen of yours….you sound so very much like Johnny Harris from Murdoch Mysteries. That Newfoundland accent comes shining through and absolutely love the delivery.

Ren calls them hostage hoods. We are kept blinded by societal values andare all interchangeable to the powers that be. It's interesting that you could only see 2 options for Jimmy, the cog in the machine or the destructive predator. There us also a life full of meaning and the richness if community and connection.

America, the land where you are expected to work yourself into the ground so either you, or more often someone else, gets rich (and richer still), and once you've made yourself sick by working with such little time off, or to spend with loved ones, then any money you've made for yourself needs to be used to pay extortionate prices for medicines and treatment that will also make others even richer. And yet as a nation, the rich (and especially the mega-rich), and being rich are looked up to as being something special, almost God-like at times. America isn't alone in looking up to the mega-rich, but you sure do take the self-harm (as a nation) it causes to crazy levels in doing so. Imagine if instead of allowing yourselves to be the equivalent of medieval serfs (or indeed, slaves), in hock to rich 'owners' from the day you're born till the day you die (and beyond?) you realised that there are many more of you than there are of them, and actually stopped yourselves from being manipulated into thinking that America's way of doing things is the only way of doing things. I guess it is 'normal' for you guys but it makes little sense looking in, from outside.

Ren brings it every time, right? The sacks (to me) represent that as a society we are all kind of blind to what goes on. People need to wake up, basically. That's what I get from it, anyway. You need to do a fun Ren one next. Murderer, Animal Flow and Genesis are all vibe-y, and they all have cool videos PLUS acoustic versions. You need to check out both versions of each song to appreciate how different (but just as awesome) they are. Power is a vibe, too 😊

None of my issues would be solved by money. That being said, it's not just the words his father is telling him. Listen to the way he says it. He's not just encouraging his son to be successful. He is making it clear from the beginning that his son is nothing if he isn't on top. That's a completely different (and wrong) perspective. He didn't run for the presidency; he was too young. He was an adviser to the president and his father was still unimpressed. Nothing in the song suggests the father ever made anything of himself. No, his life is not better than a normal life.

Oh rain rain rain rain… The first time I saw this during the premiere I just sat in shocked silence afterwards and the only coherent thought I could think was that if Netflix doesn’t give this master storyteller his own show, they’re fools. Since then one of the things that gets me the most is the father telling a FIVE YEAR OLD to learn to be a man. No child at that age should think about anything but being a child. Far too many reactors let that part slide, but it really says so much about the toxic parenting. If you let those first words from the father properly sink in, it’s not so surprising that things only get worse from there. Unfortunately, Jimmy ends up living for his father’s approval. He hangs on his every word and follows his guidance so much that he gets completely lost when the father is no longer there. So instead of finding freedom, he spirals. And Jimmy is just an exaggerated version of all of us. It could be anyone under the money bag, blinded by greed, with the wrong guidance and pressure. Ren makes it so painfully clear that we really must instill the right values in children before it’s too late. And we all need to do better TOGETHER if we don’t want greed to destroy us all. So much wisdom, and he shares it all through clever rhymes, genius storytelling, and beautiful music. A truly special artist and one that the world needs 🐰🕳️ Also just a little info to end this on a lighter note: there is one cut when the camera goes behind the wheelchair, but it’s because Ren only had the one custom suit and could hardly make everyone involved wait for it to dry between takes 😅 And really, that section is still pretty long to have to practice and nail to perfection. The entire video is just a masterpiece in direction, coordination, and execution to fulfill a vision. No wonder Sam and Ren have won multiple awards for it.

Ren always says that one symbol can mean something to you and something else to the next person... and as such, both can be true. To me the masks mean that we are all replaceable... we are all just cogs in the machine because we are "blinded". We need to remove our mask (blinders) before we can change anything... I don't know... but to me it makes sense. Maybe you're thinking something else
