This song has just become my favorite Ren track and before today I couldn't pick one if you put a gun to my head before this song!!!! 💥💥💥💙💙💙🔥🔥🔥 A number one would be the icing on the cake!!!! If anyone wants to buy the single of this song if you buy it on Bandcamp it costs 1£ minimum which is $1.32 USD, but you can pay as much as you want as long as you pay the minimum amount and all proceeds on Fridays go directly to the artist so if you buy the song on Spotify or iTunes Spotify and iTunes get a cut whereas bandcamp only on Fridays if you buy any of Ren's music from bandcamp he gets all of the money that you pay towards his music directly to him That will help him to come for the money to really make sick boy the new version as big as he wants because he's losing all this money from lawyers and everything else due to this whole fiasco. PS - Kujo has listed that he has songwriter credits on Sick Boi on Beat Stars!! Knox Hill posted the receipts showing this lie on his reaction to this song/video!!

Thanks for this Megs, I am new to Ren and thought the only way I could buy his art was through Spotify, which I had downloaded specifically to buy Rens' work, but couldn't justify the 12 quid a month subscription, so uninstalled it. I think the choir might not only represent the stolen sample, but also the Sick Boi song/video more generally; the choir lying bloody and dead at Kujo's feet could be symbolic of Kujo having "killed" Sick Boi in part because he didn't clear the sample? Love the extra layers of Money Game reference - prisoners tied to chairs in front of a malevolant Ren - I can't imagine the rope is the same physical rope he was coiling at the beginning of MG1 but it's sure the same general "kind" of rope (I mean, he also used that "look" of rope to tie the bags over the extras' heads in MG3; he & his team might have leftovers... or if not they sure know where to go back to find more... at this point, they should probably just order an industrial-length spool of it! 😂) Loved the inclusion of the Dotta storyline in here. Not just because Ren wants everyone to be clear that this dis is For Real while Dotta's was for fun, but by reaching into that corner of his story as an artist, he's actively driving fans over to Dotta's page again. Whether he intended it or not, I see that as an extra Fuck You to Kujo - "See? Even long after the dust has settled around the Dotta battle, I'm still doing nice things for him cuz he was a good guy. Too bad you didn't take me up on my offer to collab on a track. This is how I treat people who I work with." Ren's taken Kujo's attempt to get a bigger piece of the pie and is using it to gift (a bit of) bank for Dotta, while Ren's removed Sick Boi from ever benefitting Kujo a single cent more than it already has. And he's rubbing that juxtaposition in Kujo's face.

@@michaelgoyettemusic the bit about the choir - I had a more nuanced idea a little bit ago. Choir still represents the Sick Boi track/video; first the video cuts to a flash of the choir assembled around Kujo in what might be "pleading" poses; maybe that represents Kujo having made the copyright strike. Then when the video flashes to the choir dead and bloody... that's when Ren takes the video down for good, & Ren's laying the blame for it at Kujo's feet. Cuz Sick Boi (take 1) is *dead,* sigh. (I will always treasure my CD and I will always love Sick Boi the song... but the video, man... the video was a huge catharsis for me... I'm gonna miss watching Ren obliterate the chair against the wall and flip the table as he raps the verse about climate catastrophe/ecological breakdown) (I mean, I relate very intensely to a LOT of the rest of the video too, but you don't often get such a vivid portrayal of rage about lack of action on climate change in popular art) huh... the chairs Ren & the therapist used in the Sick Boi video looked an awful lot like the ones he used here, but at least one of the chairs in Sick Boi had to be a prop because *that* kind of sturdily-built wooden chair wouldn't shatter into a pile of spindles and kindling if you threw it against a wall...

The choir is the Bulgarian Choir, the part of Sick Boi that was stolen by Kujo as he didn't pay to own it before selling it to Ren. The line where the choir comes forward, I put my whole soul into my words legally." Kujo tainted it then got greedy. Ren did pass an olive branch. He offered Kujo to do a song together, split 50/50 but Kujo said no. Kujo wants payment for work he didn't do.

This whole production was on another level. It's nothing short of pure Genius, so much reference and symbolism to previous work plus obviously the lyrics to the situation with Kujo. I just wanna know how quickly he came up with it, I feel the staging alone would've taken months, the lyrics probably not as long due to his profound understanding of the english language. Think they're singing something about 'must not sell stolen samples' The pig mask is in a lot of Rens videos and you knew it's greed it represents, it's a reference to a book that Ren likes by George Orwell Animal Farm where the pigs take over the farm but greed took the pigs down. YO, That was ... I don't know! Having watched this a few times now, I love how its vicious and ruthless but not violent. He just showed us that the pen is mightier than the lawyers, and anger has it's place. I'm glad he got it out this way and shared it with us.
