He does everything. Writing, producing, does his own beats, mixes them, plays guitar, piano. But he does have Sam, who is the genius behind the camera. Sam is truly a great talent with Rens videos. This one is not, but mostly, he is the king of one takes. He does things live and in one take. Whatever you see or hear, Ren has his hands on everything

This song is close to Ren's heart. This song is covered in controversy because it was removed under an illegal copyright violation by the guy who produced the beat, who was trying to extort money out of Ren once the song took off. There's a whole 35 minute video where Ren explains exactly what happened. You should watch that one if you have the time, before reacting to "Kujo Beat Down". Ren's album Sick Boi is named after this song. Before he got sick, Ren was signed by Sony Music. When it was clear that he wasn't going to get better he was dropped by Sony. I think this event was a good thing for all of us, because they'd never have allowed him to make his style of music.

Except the fact that Rens initial contract was coming to an end and Ren and Sony both agreed he wouldn't be able to fulfil his contract with them and the parting was amicable. So he wasn't so much dropped as "he left" or "parted ways" with Sony

Great reaction. Apparently failure to pay Medical Bills is the biggest cause of Bankruptcies in the US. This is the natural follow on from Hi Ren. I can very much relate to what you say about family members dying - the only family I have left are 2 Cousins. I discovered Ren & his Music a couple of years ago, it's massively changed my life for the better. Apparently he has to spend £5-6K a month on Prescription Drugs just to stay alive.

❤❤❤ This song is about corporate greed in the medical industry which Ren is militantly against the profit over people system, corporate greed in the music industry, and greed that is killing our planet with all decisions based on profit rather than homeostasis being taken in to account, which of course will eventually kill us all.😢 His comment about we do what we are told is discussing us willingly allowing corps. & governments to become corrupt, yet do nothing about it and we keep doing as we are told or ignore problems we are duped into believing we can not do anything about. You are going to LOVE Ren. ❤❤❤ Pig has many meanings, Ren leaves it up to us but generally Greed. Btw Ren was given heavy medication he never needed for years after being misdiagnosed. Awesome reaction, really enjoyed it! Ren left it open for interpretation for a long time what the pig means, but he explains what it means to him in the interview with Zach Sang. Glad you noticed the beat, please watch "why Sick Boi is down on all platforms" followed by Kujo Beat Down. Or, if you want to get the references in Kujo Beat Down, you might want to listen to the Money Games Trilogy and Dumb King Come first. But it's not essential to Kujo Beat Down imo. If you go for the Money Games, please remind me (us) to fill you in on how the builtup was for Money Game 3 (riddles, treasure hunt, Eden), it makes it even more special Ren feels better now. He was crushed when his health went south. He's probably never gonna be able to do a tour or anything. Another reactor, Wynand Fourie, who only got into Ren a couple of months ago made a song for him called "Love's Healing" with a little help from the Renegades. It really shows what kind of community we are and how much Ren means to so many people all over the world, it's beautiful

It's kind of the title character from the sick boi album, and his most recent release transitions to something different. Ren has a tendency of jumping from personal to societal subject matter within a song, all related and can be doubles/triples, lol. "she was the hook" 🤯🔥

Thank you for your reaction. If you want to hear Ren's explanation of what the pig means to him, check out his interview with Zach Sang. That being said, Ren has also said that once he puts the songs out there, they're not his anymore, so your interpretation is just as valuable and correct as anyone else's. I think he is talking about both climate and people. There are a lot of dichotomies in his work and I don't think a lot of it has one solid meaning. Thank you again.

Before concluding that Ren's not a rapper people need to listen to The Hunger, 16-Bar Challenge, Losing It, Halftime (NAS retake), Seven Sins, Wicked Ways, Illest of our Time, Sick Boi Pt 2, Slaughter House ... and a load of others. He wanted to make the Sick Boi album to establish credibility in the Hip Hop 'space'. As an artist, his talent and the diversity of his material is obviously vastly wider than just rap and the forthcoming album will take a predominantly different direction than rap.

When people say Ren isn't a rapper, they mean he's an artist - as in, not just a rapper. He absolutely raps. His last album was hip hop. It's just that his next album is supposed to be mostly singing. Ren can do it all and he does what he wants when he wants 😅 Ren did mean climate change, though I'd he willing to go with him meaning both things. He, himself, says all interpretations are valid. But if you remember from his 1 Million Subscribers, he wants us to focus on humanity, community *and* homeostasis with nature. Ren did relapse and had a bad health scare recently. It came soon after he finally completed 18 months of treatment and had hoped he'd reached a good place. It threw him off badly. He's doing "better" now and will be headed soon to Mexico, I think, to do another round of stem cells in the hopes it will provide more benefit, since his Canadian doctor has said there's nothing more he can do. Someone was saying that in the UK they don't have our same problems and that's not entirely true. Basic healthcare needs are covered, but everything Ren is doing is out of pocket because the NHS doesn't recognize Lyme as a chronic illness. He had to get himself diagnosed out of country and treated out of country. He's paying for his medications and stabilizing procedures out of pocket as well. He said he's spending £6k a month on pills alone.

Great reaction...only one tiny thing you might've been off is when Ren cut his throat and how you interpreted that. I think you missed some lyrics when he says just before "sick boi, sick boi, looking for a fix boy, push it down in public, quick pose for the pic boy, record lablel meetings that commodify your gift boy, why you so upset? Dont you wanna be a rich boy?" Here you see people waving paper and pens at him (for autographs). I think you spoke over the 'record label' part so missed that context unfortunately but it's ok. Basically, in the first or second year after Ren contracted Lyme's and had no idea what he had, talent scout from Sony 'discovered him' while busking and offered him a contract. This was his dream at that time and he was only 19/20 years old. He worked really hard through his symptoms, to perform on demand and produce work to a point where he would be in a meeting, feel awful, hide it amd then rush off to throw up in the bathroom, to come back to the meeting as if nothing happened. But his illness just got worse and in the end it was too much and they dissolved the contract amicably. Unfortunately, Ren was left with a broken heart bc he felt that this had been his chance and he blew it. Ren is also quite outspoken about how we are not treating the Earth as we should bc of our incessant greed, so this topic does come up every now and then. The thing is Ren has ADHD and his songs do reflect that by jumping from topic to topic but it diesnt diminish his artistry or his messages in any way. Looking forward to more reactions ❤

They didn't know he got bit by a tick. He suffered with symptoms for 10 years before the cause was found and he had to go to a doctor in Belgium to get answers. The doctors here were telling him nothing was wrong with him it's all in his head

Great review I’m in my 50s also I’m a 67 baby and have had mental illness my whole life been thru countless medications for over 35 yrs and I agree with you my dr appointments have been cut to only 15 min long. I take anti psychotic medicine gives me restless leg syndrome so I’m on a Parkinson’s disease medication to control the movements then depression medicine taking other pills to counter those side affects it’s so hard the older I get also cuz I feel my mind is more messed up from on this pill taken off prescribed another so forth and the dementia scares me my mom just died from dementia and she was in patient mental facility and that scares me cuz I struggle to find words etc I’m going to stop sorry this isn’t about me but I understand completely. Great reactions keep it going and you come across just fine on camera. ❤❤❤. Also that’s what made me a renegade and thankful for finding him for his exposure to a lot of things. Can I recommend (If it hasn't already been recommended) "The Tale of Jenny & Screech (Full)" it's 3 songs in one video and is around 13 mins, this shows how good his story telling is (or BardCore) he has released the vids separately but if you get them in the wrong order the message won't make sense. Also Money Game Part 1 - 3 (suggest Pt is the vid), I am sure others have posted recommendations, so choose what you want, the thing with Ren is, there isn't a bad song.

11:13 UK is the same now. 10yrs diagnosed fibro, rhematoid arthritis (misdiagnosis) then given chemo for it. 10yrs of morphine patches. Now fianlly been told i have FND. Im gettibg myself off the morphine and on to cannabis oil on prescription. Thankfully we can get it now but its £100 for 30ml bittle. Its madness
