Great reaction, agree Chalk Outlines is a deep and emotional song. Appreciations also needs go to Chinchilla on the song as well as it is a fullly collaborative co-write between the two artists. Both artists describe each other as their musical sibling due to their similar approach to music and artistry in general. They also worked together on their earlier collab (How to be Me), which also has a live version, and have recently worked on new collabs due to be released sometime in the next month or so.

It was actually originally a Ren song but they made changes, together, to fit a duet. :)

@@Codex7777 - so nice to hear from you again, I still haven't seen you're supporting evidence for this claim of yours. Hence if you don't mind I'll go with what the artists themselves have explicitly stated about the song having been written jointly, as well as the fact that the song lists both artists as songwriters (both as lyricists & composers) in the credits.

I think in your reaction of Back to 74 Message in a Bottle Retake, you mentioned how much you love Ren's guitar work. If you want to treat yourself to some of that I suggest taking a look at the Ren & Liv Sangster session they livestreamed on Twitch last year. This has been captured in 12 YT videos by Georgina Strykes. It is just live raw beautiful musicianship and chemistry. Trust me hard not to watch all 12 on the trot.

A chalk outline is what type of draw around A dead body right? I know you got that. But it wasn’t an out of body experience. They trace themselves in it and they race them selves in it. A floating chalk outline meaning they walk around as though they are dead already. The songs focus on the medication anti-depressants, anti-anxiety’s etc., is a commentary about how they may take away your lows but they take away your highs and they leaving you feeling emotionless like you can’t feel anything, hence feeling dead inside. Great job. First time here❤✌️

Great reaction :D the studio version is great too, quite different actually. Live versions are always prefered though :) Chinchilla's solo songs are bangers as well!
