Also would recommend you do his One Million Subscribers video where he talks about what success means to him, it’s a great insight into what makes him tick.

Great insights. Ren and Chinchilla describe each other as “musical siblings.”

Thankyou for a great reaction. Please do Freckled Angels (live) and For Joe. Both songs about Ren's friend. Also I think you'd enjoy It's Alright by Ren ( official video).

Thank you for this. The amount of wisdom you have young man is incredible. I just want to give you respect because many humans dont get to where you are until much later in life. You two are amazing and have great communication skills.I click fast when I see a new reaction. Im not a believer in religion but do believe there is something bigger than us out there. ❤

YES! The past 13 months for me have been hell. Fighting stage 4 colon cancer and having a horrible side affect that my oncologist and gastro drs can’t figure out and I just been stuck. And f#ck I know being an evil entity that lived life so wrong. Living in the Low Bottoms in LA and doing what ever was needed. I’m like ok life full circle. But damn to have the few people that love me and has made me change so now I feel I can’t check out. To me I’ve lived my life. It’s been so amazing bad and to me good though. So to have people care so much that I have to keep suffering from what I’m goin through it’s a really love hate for me.

First off appreciate you feeling comfortable sharing this and we pray everything turns around for the better. Give yourself Grace, nobody is or ever will be perfect and mistakes will be made but as long you learn lessons as you go it was worth it. Be positive in this time and focus on the love around you, being in your head about factors that don’t help you don’t serve you !

Chinchilla is so fire. Y’all should check out her live version of 1:5 if you haven’t. Her outfit is wild because she’s promoting her new album called Flytrap.

The story of Jobe always made me think that God was a psychopath. I never understood why anyone would worship a god who treated his most faithful like that. I’m sure someone will enlighten me so I don’t go around thinking god thinks we’re all chumps

I’ve always interpreted that story/message to tell us that no one makes it through life unscathed … the only way to grow and strengthen is to go through the fire & sometimes it takes losing everything and being truly humbled to realize that we aren’t all knowing and that there’s always more to be learned even after seeing tremendous success in different areas of life. It’ll always be about the journey and not a destination! - 5

One thing that I haven't heard any reaction on this video say is how the last words of the song, when he gave up the fight a quick decision late in the night it stays with me all of my life I miss you so It's the same meter and rhyme as And it suff o cates me Basically, I think that the last line "I miss you so-" is cut off, just like Joe's life. Or maybe I put too much into it, but Ren usually has layers we will still be grasping at for the next several decades.

They remind me of Rick James and Teena Marie on "Fire & Desire". I'd love to see them cover it.
