Acapella goodness! Austin is their High tenor and he has a very dynamic, beautiful voice. He has that shirt framed in his home that they signed. The Oaks really like what Home Free is doing and they have done a show together in the past as well as collaborated with them again on an online live Christmas show during the "big Q" The song is on KZbin if you want to check it out called "O' Beautiful Star Of Bethlehem"

The thin guy in the middle was high tenor Austin Brown. Glad to hear you're going to check out When A Man Loves A Woman; he sings lead in that one. To hear each voice individually one of the best bets is American Pie with Don McLean, but you can't go wrong with any of their music. Bass is Tim Foust, lead tenor is Rob Lundquist, baritone is Adam "Chance" Ray, and of course, their stellar beatboxer is Adam Rupp, also a founding member of HF. Depending on the song, any one of them may be singing the lead. Enjoyed your reaction, Ken, thanks.

Sometime soon, look up the one that Home Free dropped yesterday...a cover of the Doobie Brothers "Listen to the Music" it'll be a real eye-opener for ya...it's just awesome.

Plus, Austin Brown (high tenor in the ORB signed shirt) dropped his now video found under his own name. Georgia On My Mind was a good choice for the native of Tifton, Georgia. And for the trifecta, Austin and his ladylove dropped a non music related video at The Beauty and The Beast on YT, the 4th part of them raising tadpoles to frogs and releasing them in their pond. That whole site is a fun and interesting look into their home life away from the group and music.

I enjoyed it but I think that Austin wasn't the best choice for the lead. It was a nice trip down memory lane for me and they did sound good but I think it could have been great. That's just me though. If you want Austin knocking it out the park....When a Man Loves a Woman.

On Friday, they released …”LISTEN TO THE MUSIC”… cover of the Doobie Brothers, 1972 hit… Austin Brown is the lead &, Adam Rupp, the BEAT MASTER…is absolutely phenomenal 😵💫‼️😵💫 What a Feel Good song 🥰🥰

Austin Brown (High Tenor) is the one you asked about here. You might want to make a note because you will be looking for his name soon. "When A Man Loves a Women" is outstanding.

The thin guy is Austin Brown sky high tenor. The bass is Tim Foust. The Oak Ridge Boys are mentors to the guys now. They have been on stage with them many times. Home Free did a Christmas Special last year and the Oak Ridge Boys and Alabama were both one it singing with them. They also sang with Rachel Wammack, Striking Matches and Jeffrey East. You can find some of them here on KZbin. Enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.

I am so glad you reacted to this collaboration between Home Free & The Oakridge Boys. "Elvira" was a huge hit for The Oakridge Boys in 1981. You can see the great respect these 2 groups have for each other. The Oakridge Boys are mentors to Home Free & it is like they are passing the baton to a younger version of themselves. They have performed together on the Grand Ole Opry. Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is the best in the business. He can simulate drums & any other sounds perfectly. Home Free is my favorite a cappella group. They are so talented yet very humble guys. Some of my favorites are "Take Me Home Country Roads", "In The Blood", "Blue Ain't Your Color", "American Pie", Sea Shanty Medley", "Helplessly Hoping", "Seven Bridges Road" etc.

How nice to encounter a reactor who is not overly impressed with how low the notes are but what the singer does with them once down there. So many reactors treat singing as if it were a competitive sport! An enjoyable thoughtful reaction . Get ready to be blown away by When a Man.

For a good laugh you can check out Home Free's Butts Medley. Also, not sure if you watched this video to the end to see that the arrangement of this piece originated with Geoff Castellucci. He's another singer worth checking out if you like high quality bass notes. He has a solo channel as well as sings bass for the a cappella group VoicePlay.

Thanks for a great reaction to this song. The Oak Ridge Boys and Home Free are wonderful together. They have done The Opry several times together and respect each other. Home Free also works with newer people out there. Texas Hill...two of those guys were on the Voice and one from American Idol...Maggie Baugh...beautiful young singer who plays violin/fiddle...Jeffrey East another amazing singer. Several more. Other songs have been suggested and they are great. Maybe some time later try...Ain't Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up...Garth Brooks cover,,,I was reminded,,,this one is on Facebook...copyright...I think. You can't go wrong with any song. Thanks again.

Hello, Ken. I really enjoyed your reaction to this song. It's one of my favorites from the Oak Ridge Boys. It's amazing to me to hear Home Free do covers because I never miss the instrumentation! Both groups had a blast collaborating on this song/video. I was fortunate enough to see Home Free this past February - they are as incredible in person as they are with all the studio enhancements. Have a great day and thank you!

It’s a fun collaboration. They have another with the Oak Ridge boys at Christmas singing Star of Bethlehem. Tim Foust, the bass, has a 5 octave range so he can go super low and then sing up with the tenors. To hear his low notes you might like Brothers in Arms. Austin was so good as the high tenor. Adam, the beatboxer, is so impressive. They just released Listen to the Music (Doobie Brothers hit) and Adam is so good. Good reaction!
