I started 6 month ago a super agressive diet. I have about 10 years of training and decently build. But i kinda past years dirty bulked and got fast. So past 8 months on this aggressive cut i lost 41 KG fat. Thats about 90 pound. Im 6,8 and now about 100 kg. Still a bit to go for my goal. But this diet was super tough and mentally challenging, but i wanted to test myself and see how far my body can go. I can guarantee that i had weeks where i would eat about 600 calories every day for entire week mostly protein and very little carbs. Still i could perform in the gym and didnt drop strength. I felt that my stamina was maybe 10 percent less but still enough to workout. I kept most of my muscle, if i lost i would say its very little, pretty much not even noticeable. My agressive month i lost about 3 kg. Worst part was never ending hunger, but after a while you mentally and physically get used to this hunger and you can go entire day without even being bothered. I kinda realized that losing fat is actually easier than most people make it to be. Its just that requires enormous mental strength to keep yourself together when your body is craving foods. I overcame this by consistently thinking about my goal and priorities whenever i started to get very hungry. Just forced myself to realize that this is just to achieve my best self. However this is not sustainable long term. Its very hard. So when i reach to my goal i will slowly come back, but just enough to not start gain fat again and just keep performing in the gym.

Now im in shape of my life and lost 49 kg

However, in his progression video, he suggests increasing weights or reps until you can no longer increase them, and then deload. Does this mean increasing weights/reps until you can’t WITHIN 3 RIR? Or can I keep increasing until I reach true failure and then deload? Any help would be so so appreciated.

Spring Break story: So, I was with a group of my friends at a club that was having a foam party night, and I was really enjoying getting to know them because this was my first college club experience. A random girl walked up to me and asked if I wanted to dance. I'm pretty introverted in new experiences, and was in the middle of a conversation, so I declined and told her I'd find her later. She said, "whatever," and danced with the guy next to me instead. Back to my friends, we had lots of laughs and learned a few new things about them, and then 5 minutes later I look to my right and the girl is on her knees up to her neck in the foam, and is blowing the guy next to me. One of the most "well, shit" experiences I've ever had. :P

I hope you learned, never put the fellows before the girl. Unless you like fellas, and there is nothing wrong with that. But, as you learned from experience. The fellas will still be there later the girl will not.
